Speedy deletion nomination of Verapar:Sandbox
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and the page that you created has been or soon will be deleted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. WWGB (talk) 13:50, 18 December 2010 (UTC)
- If you want to make yourself a sandbox, it has to have "User:" in front: User:Verapar/Sandbox. Just click on that redlink and you can edit it. JohnCD (talk) 13:53, 18 December 2010 (UTC)
- Was in the process of doing that, read your msg after I was done. Thx. Verapar (talk) 13:57, 18 December 2010 (UTC)
Consecutive sentences from the same reference
What do you think about only putting a citation at the end of a group consecutive sentences if they are from the same reference? I've read the Help Desk archive here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Help_desk/Archives/2007_April_20#Citing_the_same_source_multiple_times_in_the_same_paragraph but you can let me know if you have additional information. - That should be fine, with some exceptions. I also usually bundle multiple sources together into one footnote at the end of a paragraph. The exceptions are when citing a direct quote, or when a statement is particularly startling or contrary to "common knowledge" (i.e., likely to be questioned), which should be cited immediately after the quote or statement. -- Donald Albury 12:41, 20 December 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks. Maybe this should be incorporated into WP:Footnotes -Verapar (talk) 00:41, 22 December 2010 (UTC)

Hi Verapar. Welcome to Wikipedia. Hope you have fun here. Nice work finding an anonymous name with only seven characters. -SusanLesch (talk) 20:46, 26 December 2010 (UTC)
