Proposed deletion of UCLA Health System edit

The article UCLA Health System has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable bureaucratic subunit, not much in sources about bureaucracy itself. Article creator admits that topic has received "very little independent" coverage.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. A page you started (Marmaduke Fothergill) has been reviewed! edit

Thanks for creating Marmaduke Fothergill, Velocipedus!

Wikipedia editor Blythwood just reviewed your page, and wrote this note for you:

Interesting topic! There's actually a lot of citations for this man on Google Books, many in books dating back to the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. I've added what seems most useful, also done other general cleanup.

To reply, leave a comment on Blythwood's talk page.

Proposed deletion of Traffic Obstruction edit

The article Traffic Obstruction has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This unreferenced article is at once (a) self evident and (b) includes original research. I suggest a precis be included in the Protest article and this one deleted. There is apparently little interest in developing the History section.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. December 2017 edit

Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. This is just a note to let you know that I've moved the draft that you were working on to Draft:Desk set, from its old location at User:Velocipedus/sandbox. This has been done because the Draft namespace is the preferred location for Articles for Creation submissions. Please feel free to continue to work on it there. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to ask me on my talk page. Thank you. Curb Safe Charmer (talk) 19:47, 27 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Desk Set (disambiguation) edit

A tag has been placed on Desk Set (disambiguation) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G6 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an orphaned disambiguation page which either

  • disambiguates only one extant Wikipedia page and whose title ends in "(disambiguation)" (i.e., there is a primary topic); or
  • disambiguates no (zero) extant Wikipedia pages, regardless of its title.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time. Please see the disambiguation page guidelines for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
