Widescreen

Widescreen posters are not allowed in Wiki. Krzna said to me when i am a new user to Wiki. May be wiki policies against widescreen posters uploading. Please ask him. Thank you. Raghusri (talk) 11:35, 9 January 2013 (UTC)

I wish you the same Happy Sankranthi to you and you family in advance. Raghusri (talk) 11:41, 9 January 2013 (UTC)

Hey, how are you? I did not understand your question completely but here is the answer to what i think you meant. There is absolutely nothing in Wiki policies that's against the widescreen posters. But you have to understand that a poster is uploaded to give the article and its content a visual enhancement and also be easier to identify the movie. Also when the poster is added to an infobox, it automatically resizes images to a default width of 220px. That is not an ideal size for a wide screen poster. The poster thumbnail gets smaller, making it hard to see what's on it. In my opinion, thus it fails to provide any visual significance to the article. If there are no alternatives except the widescreen poster, in that case you can use them. But generally, i prefer to avoid widescreen posters. Again, nothing that i know of in Wiki policies is against widescreen posters. Thanks and let me know if that answered your question. krZna (talk) 20:37, 9 January 2013 (UTC)

Thanks dude, wish you the same. krZna (talk) 07:27, 10 January 2013 (UTC)

SVSC poster

Yeah! you are right. Thank you for notifying me each time. No problem, because your suggestions are valuable. Keep it up. I will surely upload a new version with quality and clarity. Happy editing. Raghusri (talk) 10:04, 18 January 2013 (UTC)

Julai posters

Hello Pavan! Thanks for notifying me. One of them consists the Release date. So that should be avoided because at the release time is O.K. but for now the film has completed 100 days and the Vcd, Dvd and Blu-rays of the film were also released. So uploading that poster is of no use. Actually both posters consists all the important roles in that film, but the matter here is the height of the two images are dominating the width much more. So that a little bit of disappointment and dissatisfaction will generate in the minds of those who view the poster, after i upload one of them. For that reason, Sorry!!! i am not uploading anyone of them, better stick to the existing version of Julai poster. If you want to say anything please tell me. Thank you. Thank you for understanding. Have a happy day and happy editing :) Raghusri (talk) 10:01, 9 February 2013 (UTC)
