Edit summaries edit

Hello. Can I please encourage you to use edit summaries when making changes to articles? On Talmud you removed information but without giving an explanation it is not clear what your problem is with this content. There is no real dispute about the name "Palestinian Talmud" for the Talmud Yerushalmi/Jerusalem Talmud, as this is the name used particularly in academic sources.

There is always the option of starting a discussion on Talk:Talmud if you have real concerns about a particular addition. Kind regards. JFW | T@lk 05:35, 6 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

ARBPIA3 edit

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. The Arbitration Committee has placed restrictions on who may edit in the Arab-Israeli conflict topic area. Editors are required to have 500 edits and be registered for 30 days, which you do not currently meet. As such you may not edit in the Arab-Israeli conflict topic area until you do. You can read more about this here. Please edit in other topic areas until you have completed the requirements. nableezy - 17:06, 21 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

Copying within Wikipedia requires proper attribution edit

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from List of Jewish prayers and blessings into Hanukkah. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. If you are the sole author of the prose that was moved, attribution is not required. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 14:33, 17 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

August 2019 edit

Hello, I'm Tgeorgescu. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Nebuchadnezzar II seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Tgeorgescu (talk) 05:58, 11 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

Sockpuppet investigation edit

An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Barok777, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.

Leonid Dukhovny moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, Leonid Dukhovny, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Your draft article, Draft:Leonid Dukhovny edit

Your request for arbitration has been declined edit

In response to your request for arbitration, the Arbitration Committee has agreed that arbitration is not required at this stage. Arbitration on Wikipedia is a lengthy, complicated process that involves the unilateral adjudication of a dispute by an elected committee. Although the Committee's decisions can be useful to certain disputes, in many cases the actual process of arbitration is unenjoyable and time-consuming. Moreover, for most disputes the community maintains an effective set of mechanisms for reaching a compromise or resolving a grievance.

Disputes among editors regarding the content of an article should use structured discussion on the talk page between the disputing editors. However, requests for comment, third opinions and other venues are available if discussion alone does not yield a consensus. The dispute resolution noticeboard also exists as a method of resolving content disputes that aren't easily resolved with talk page discussion.

In all cases, you should review Wikipedia:Dispute resolution to learn more about resolving disputes on Wikipedia. The English Wikipedia community has many venues for resolving disputes and grievances, and it is important to explore them instead of requesting arbitration in the first instance. For more information on the process of arbitration, please see the Arbitration Policy and the Guide to Arbitration. I hope this advice is useful, and please do not hesitate to contact me or a member of the community if you have more questions. Dreamy Jazz talk to me | my contributions 23:41, 13 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

Conflict of interest? edit

I see you have uploaded a series of images of an Alef Aeronautics product to Wikimedia Commons, stating that the images are your own work. [1] Given that several of the images can also be found elsewhere online, and would appear to have been used within Alef's own publicity material, it seems reasonable to ask whether you have any connection with Alef, and whether you are aware of Wikipedia's policies towards conflict of interest editing, and with the requirement for editors engaging in editing for payment to make a declaration.
