Zdravstvuj Vassili. I've put herein some Russian articles (mainly in the fields of math, phys and geography) and since English nor Russian are my native languages any help is very appreciated from both ones. See for instance a talk at Tchaikovsky and some others. Best regard. -- XJamRastafire 11:28 Aug 19, 2002 (PDT)

Yes Vassili. Thank you for correcting the 'right' Russian name of Tchaikovsky. I guess I've made a mistake putting a Bulgarian form of his name Пьотр Илич Чайковски and not the right Russian one Пётр Ильич Чайковски&#1081. I can see clearly my mistake if I put the first wrong form in a Russian web searcher. It can't find a thing. :-) I should be more carefull. What a mess I am doing. Thanks again. -- XJamRastafire 11:59 Aug 19, 2002 (PDT)

Strugatsky's saying: To understand means to simplify.

No, dear Vassili I didn't know for that Russian word game at all. Interesting. I must think hard if this is true for Slovene language too. (I think it is not actually). I like this saying even more now :). Thank you for letting me know. And I should have asked my wife - she knows Russian in a null as we say. -- XJamRastafire 15:15 Aug 25, 2002 (PDT)

Hi! Thanks for uploading the following image:

I notice it currently doesn't have an image copyright tag. Could you add one to let us know its copyright status? (You can use {{gfdl}} if you release it under the GNU Free Documentation License, {{fairuse}} if you claim fair use, etc.) If you don't know what any of this means, just let me know at my talk page where you got the images and I'll tag them for you. Thanks so much. [[User:Poccil|Peter O. (Talk, automation script)]] 22:04, Dec 10, 2004 (UTC)

P.S. You can help tag other images at User:Yann/Untagged_Images. Thanks again.

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
