Mona Ghosh Shetty edit

Hey, I'd just like to say thank you on updating the Mona Ghosh Shetty page by adding the fact that she Hindi dubbed Belle in Beauty and the Beast.

But I need help finding the official Hindi voice actor for Elijah Wood's role as Frodo Baggins for the Lord of the Rings films. I thought to myself that Vivek Oberoi was the voice over, but I can possibly be wrong.

Do you know where you can find the voice over at? Please let me know. I'd appreciate it very much. Thank you.

--BlueMario1016 (talk)

What about the Enchanted Christmas movie? She had to voice her in that one too, and that came before the Magical World film.

There also needs to be info on when it was dubbed and released in its Hindi dubbed format, like how the first one was in 2003.

Also, I got another person that's helping out too on finding the official Hindi voice actor for Frodo in The Lord of the Rings, but the person hasn't replied for a while.

I was wondering if you were able to ask a Indian dubbing director and ask who the Hindi dubbing artist is.

--BlueMario1016 (talk)

Trying to upload a picture is somewhat harder, since they changed the policy and understandings of uploading photo files.

I have a curiosity due to the fact that not much info for Hindi dubbed formats of foreign films or any other media can be found, unless we can work together and make some type of Hindi dubbing database that provides the info.

You can visit this person's talk page, since I also asked for info too and made up some suggestions for Indian dubbing databases. But he has not been on in a while. He is involved in a part of the Indian dubbing industry and helped heavily expand for Nachiket Dighe.
User talk:Nadude - This is the person's talk page, you can visit.

--BlueMario1016 (talk)

It is quite my pleasure, But by the way, please try to find the Official Hindi voice-over dubbing artist for Elijah Wood's role as Frodo from the Lord of the Rings films, please. I am desperate to know who.

Hi! edit

Hi Varoon. This is Rishabh here. Thanks for your edit in the article Kendriya Vidyalaya Ganeshkhind, but adding Hamsa Padmanabhan as an alumni is not a right thing to do in Wikipedia. Wikipedia needs to be encyclopaedic, not somewhat like school advertising. But if someone from our school becomes a renowned actor or a prime minister, then we can :D. Right now, i have removed your edit.

Hoping you have a good time in Wikipedia.

BTW, I would like you to join us all Wikipedians of Pune in the meetup scheduled soon. Tell me if you're interested.

Indian dubbing artists to be found edit

Did you see the list of Indian dubbing artists that are yet to be found on this page, called: "Indian dubbing artists to be found" ?

That shows a list of all the roles that I typed in of voices that are yet to be found of those that were dubbed in either Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Punjabi and Urdu. If you want, you can add in more.

By the way, did you find the Hindi dubbing voice artist for Elijah Wood's role as Frodo Baggins from The Lord of the Rings yet? I'd like to add in the Indian artist's name that gave the Hindi voice to him onto the list.

Plus, You can ask friends that are into the Indian dubbing industry to help you find the name of the Indian dubbing artists that are yet to be found on re-searching.

BlueMario1016 (talk) 17:57, 13 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Oh yes, please do that! You can make some Wikipedia pages on the Indian voice actors that you found and which roles that they performed on Indian dubbing roles and on that language, that don't have a Wikipedia page here yet. Also, Try on keep looking for the Hindi voice artist for Elijah Wood's role as Frodo! Maybe soon, You'll might meet an Indian Wikipedian that's into the Dubbing Industry of India, that just might know that director that knows the artist that dubbed Elijah Wood's roles in Hindi, including his role as Frodo!

Example of an voice artist that doesn't have a page: Namrata Sawhney is an Indian voice actress who was born in 1970, who speaks English and Hindi. She gave her beautiful voice to Princess Jasmine in the Hindi dub of Disney's Aladdin in 2005. She also dubbed over Kate Winslet's role as Rose DeWitt Bukater/Dawson in Titanic and also dubbed over roles played by Sridevi. Sridevi is a Tamil actress, but Namrata dubbed over her voice in Hindi.

BlueMario1016 (talk) 16:32, 14 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Yes. Sridevi is a Tamil actress who acted in Tamil-language Indian films, but Namrata Sawhney is the one who dubbed her voice in the Hindi-language.

I also found out that Deepika Joshi-Shah (who sadly died this year at the age of 35) gave Hindi-dubbed voices to some roles in The Lord of the Rings series.

I think she might have done the Hindi dubbing voice for Sarah McLeod's role as Rosie Cotton.

BlueMario1016 (talk) 10:58, 16 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

I see what you mean. I know Vivek Oberoi also dubbed over some his own roles in different languages of his own films as well. By the way, If there's any more roles you wanna add in to search, you can add it to the "Indian dubbing artists to be found" on the List of Indian dubbing artists page.

Also, Try to keep searching for the Hindi dub-over artist for Elijah Wood's role as Frodo from Lord of the Rings. I think we just may get a bit close.

Hindi voice foundation edit

Is it possible that you can find out who did the Hindi dubbing voice for Johnny Bravo of the Titular cartoon? Here's a video I found on YouTube, that has a Johnny Bravo episode dubbed into Hindi. YouTube Link I hope you can recognize this Hindi dubbing artist's voice. --BlueMario1016 (talk) 22:18, 19 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Adam Sandler's Hindi voice artist found edit

I have just found out who did the Hindi dubbing voice for Adam Sandler's roles! This Hindi dubbing artist goes by the name, Ashwin Mushran. Please check it out!

--BlueMario1016 (talk) 21:33, 27 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Another thing edit

How did you know that Prachi Save is the Hindi dubbing voice for Aang in Avatar: The Last Airbender? If that's the case, then who are the Hindi dubbing voices for the other characters?

--BlueMario1016 (talk) 19:24, 30 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

But another question. Are you also involved in the Indian dubbing industry?

Whatever you are, or not, It'd be a great idea to start a Hindi dubbing database online. As well as maybe for Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Punjabi and Urdu. On Nadude's talk page, I made a category that suggests for Indian dubbing websites and info included. (please check that out, if you can.)

Maybe you can make some Wikia site or something for a start? Like Hindidubbing.wikia.com or something?

All these Indian dubbing Databases would include the Original actor and the dubbing artist listed on each and every foreign movie, TV program, cartoon, Anime or animated film, that is added on that site. Also when adding the dubbing artists, input his or her full birth-date and also their home origin. The Website can be switched between two different languages. You can use English and Hindi to scroll through the Hindi dubbing website.

Anime category on Indian actors edit

If you're going to add some Anime titles on which Indian actors dubbed over, I suggest that you must use only the Original Japanese actor or actress, not the credited voice for the English adaptions. You should also use the Original Japanese name for that character as well, like when you edited Meena Menon's page for the Anime roles she dubbed in.

Sure, Nachiket Dighe's credit has voiced Tracey Sketchit in Pokemon, but the original name which is Kenji, is still next to the English adaptation name.

Sakura Kinomoto is the true original name to the main character of the title, Cardcaptor Sakura. When it was bought to North America, Nelvana dubbed it and edited the footage, thus making it look different, compared to the original version. Her name was changed to Sakura Avalon and dubbed by Carly McKillip, but for North American audiences, and other English-speaking countries. Sakura Tange gave the Original Japanese voice to Sakura Kinomoto. It's best not to give in the English voice-dubbing actor's name, due to that it's not the original version. Just about all Animes are recorded in Japanese First, and thus the original Japanese content must be inserted.

--BlueMario1016 (talk) 16:13, 2 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

OK, It's settled. edit

Alright, Since you told me that the Hindi dub was based off the Nelvana english adaptation, I decided to fix up the page a bit for Meena Menon.

By the way, Which character did Prachi Save dub over in Hindi for The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe? And who gave the Hindi voice to William Moseley's role as Peter Pevensie in the Narnia film series?

--BlueMario1016 (talk) 11:37, 3 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Well, How about Johnny Bravo's Hindi voice? A Hindi-dubbed episode can be viewed here.

You can find Johnny Bravo's and Bunny Bravo's Hindi voices here.

Hindi dubbed editions of Narnia films can be downloaded as torrent files.

--BlueMario1016 (talk) 12:14, 3 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Maybe the same voice actor that voiced Johnny Bravo in Hindi, might have also been the same voice actor that voiced Dexter's Dad in Hindi, in Dexter's Laboratory. And thanks for letting me know that Geeta Khanna has voiced Bunny Bravo in Hindi and those other roles you mentioned. I just added her to the List of Indian dubbing artists, but now all we need is a Wikipedia page for her, and her birthdate and birth place. :)

--BlueMario1016 (talk) 10:55, 4 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Updates (Please check and reply) edit

I have just created a page for Hindi voice actress Geeta Khanna. But the page for her needs various updates such as references and her birthdate as well. I was wondering if you can update it. But sadly, I got a notice saying that it might get deleted within ten days, so there needs to be info, before the deadline.

Also, The same Hindi voice actor for Johnny Bravo of the titular cartoon, could probably also be the same who voiced Dexter's Dad in Dexter's Laboratory (Jeff Bennett is well known for voicing both of those characters in it's original English recording). That can maybe give you a hint onto finding an easier way to find the Hindi voice artist.

Also, Prachi Save is unfortunately being considered for deletion as well, so we must contribute by posting and sharing on thoughts on the article page's deletion. If you get a moment...reply back and try to update the pages, and also try to find the Hindi voice artist for Johnny Bravo/Dexter's Dad. Thanks.

Wikia page for Hindi dubbed media edit

I have an idea. Why don't you start a Hindi dubbing database website on the Wikia community? (www.wikia.com) The website can be available in both English and Hindi language feedbacks. But we need to think of a name for the Database. Maybe you can call it either: Hindidubbingdatabase.wikia.com or Dabinga.wikia.com (Dabinga is Hindi for Dubbing). Tamil and Telugu dubbed versions can't be allowed, since those would have to be on separate Wikia pages.

There is a Wikia website called: Doblaje.wikia.com (Doblaje is Dubbing in Spanish) where it shows all foreign media dubbed in Latin Spanish (Mexico, Colombia, Los Angles, Miami, Chile, Argentina, Venezuela, El Salvador and Pureto Rico use Latin Spanish). They show information for Latin Spanish dubbed Movies, Cartoons, TV shows, Anime, Videogames, Tokusatsu, Animated films, Anime films, and more. Maybe this can give you an inspiration into making a Hindi dubbing database on the Wikia community. If you do that, A lot of people that are involved in the Hindi dubbing industry would wanna pull out info onto there! :)

Latin Spanish dubbed movies for example, show the name of the Studio, Where it was recorded at (example: Mexico or Colombia), the year that the dubbed version came out, and it shows a list of the Original actors and Latin-Spanish dubbed actors. Here is a prime example.

--BlueMario1016 (talk) 14:05, 15 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Oh alright. I understand. But I need to let you know that some of my things recently got hacked last night, but I was able to successfully retrieve most of my things. But I still got some more work to do! :(

List of dubbing databases around the world edit

Hello. It's been over a week, since I last spoke to you.

Have you thought of creating that wikia community page for Hindi dubbed media yet? Sorry I did not talk for a long time. I've been going through hard times, trying to retrieve my things back! :(

You have a choice of either calling it: Hindidubbingdatabase.wikia.com or Dabinga.wikia.com. You'll also have to provide the website in two languages, which it will need to be in both English and Hindi.

(On Google Translate, The English word: "Dubbing" translates to "Dabinga" (Hindi: डबिंग) in Hindi.)

There are other Dubbing database websites on the internet which I can give you as many as I can provide for now! Try to check them all out! ^^

Sadly, There's no existing websites that include Thai, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Punjabi, nor Urdu dubbing databases of foreign media. Despite some countries only being able to dub programs and movies that are attended for children, there are some Mature-rated video games that are dubbed in those places such as inFamous 2 and Assassin's Creed III.

You see, we need online databases for Hindi, Tamil and Telugu dubbed media of foreign productions. Maybe also include online databases for Thai, Kannada, Punjabi and Urdu dubbed foreign media as well. Please tell me, what you think!

--BlueMario1016 (talk) 19:20, 25 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Just to let you know, that I did not create any of these dubbing databases that I explained above. And what more info did you find for Parignya Pandya and Mona Ghosh Shetty?

I did manage to add in their correct birth dates and their places on where they were born, but I still can't find the Hindi voice-dubbing artist for Elijah Wood's role as Frodo from The Lord of the Rings movie series! Please help on finding the Hindi voice artist too! :(

--BlueMario1016 (talk) 10:27, 26 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

I have just added those roles to Pinky Rajput's page. But the News reporter character you mentioned from the third Spider-Man film, was played by Tiffany L. Baker, but she was originally not mentioned in the film's credits. And was Pinky Rajput really born in 1969? Or was she born later? I can't find her correct birthdate!

And what other dubbing roles of foreign media did you find for Parignya Pandya Shah? I know she also gave the Hindi dubbing voice to Vanessa Hudgens's role as Gabriella Montez in the High School Musical movies, but even though, I hate that movie series in my opinion. I'm thinking she may have also voiced other roles that Emma Watson originally performed, since Parignya may be the Official Hindi dub-over artist for that actress.

--BlueMario1016 (talk) 10:27, 27 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Alright, I have just added that info down on what you said. Thank you! But by the way, you didn't answer my question about Pinky Rajput's birthdate. Was she really born in 1969? Or was she born later?

--BlueMario1016 (talk) 10:44, 2 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Oh dear! But I say....Where do you find the birthdates for these Hindi dubbing actors? And where is the Hindi dubbing artist for Elijah Wood's role as Frodo Baggins? If you find this Hindi voice actor for him, do you think you can put in his birthdate and all the other Hindi dubbing roles he did? Maybe he could be the official Hindi voice artist for Elijah Wood, like how Pawan Kalra is the official Hindi voice artist for Arnold Schwarzenegger, when he dubbed some of his films much later, after their original release. I am thinking that some Indian voice actor born between 1972-1976 might be the year birthdate for that dubbing artist for Frodo in Lord of the Rings.

Donkey Kong Country TV series dubbed in Hindi edit

Was Parignya Pandya Shah the Hindi dubbing voice for Dixie Kong in the Donkey Kong Country cartoon series?

--BlueMario1016 (talk) 14:36, 8 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Has the cartoon ever aired in India before? According to the Wikipedia page for it, It is now currently airing on Disney Channel India, but that didn't come till 2004, and I am not so sure if it was dubbed in Hindi in 2004. It originally aired in France in 1996, Then it was dubbed in English and aired in Canada and the United States in 1998. The series was also popular in Japan when it was dubbed in Japanese in 1999, since the video games which the animated series is based off of, was very successful there.

Do you know who voiced Gary Oldman's role as Sirius Black in the Harry Potter movies from the Hindi dub? A clip of the Hindi dub for the third movie, where Sirius Black is shown can be found here. [1].

Hindi voices in this clip:

What's happening? edit

What has happened? You haven't replied to my message above, from quite a while now. Did you manage to figure out who gave the Hindi dubbing voice to Gary Oldman's role as Sirius Black in the Harry Potter films?

The clip of the Hindi dub of the third movie can be viewed here: [2]

--BlueMario1016 (talk) 17:57, 14 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Well, Do you know any foreign TV programs that Karan Trivedi dubbed in Hindi? According to his status, The people that got his info, said that he voiced a lot of characters for foreign cartoons and Japanese Anime on TV.

--BlueMario1016 (talk) 11:07, 15 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Well, I have good news for you! I have managed to recover all of Prachi Save's info and the Wikipedia page for her is back up, plus with the extra roles that you mentioned. Also, can you really upload a picture of her? Along with pictures of Parignya Pandya and Mona Ghosh Shetty on their pages also?

Hindi/Urdu Confusion edit

Hindi and Urdu are actually two totally different languages as I see it. You said that Amar Babaria voiced Adult Simba in Hindi, and I told you that Hasni Naveed Afridi voiced Adult Simba in Urdu, as well as doing Mufusa's voice in Urdu. You may say that Hindi and Urdu languages are quite similar, and you absolutely right. They are similar but they have major and minor differences in between. Hindi uses modified Sanskrit alphabet letters in their grammar, while Urdu is more of using modified Arabic and Persian alphabet letters. There also exists: "Hindustani" which is a mix of both Hindi and Urdu languages.

Me and my older sibling downloaded a Hindi DVD torrent of Dragonheart, that features both the English and Hindi language audio tracks, and I watched parts of Draco (The dragon character voiced by Sean Connery) in Hindi, but I am very confused to see who voiced Draco in Hindi. I got it off extratorrents.com, and you can download it here:

http://extratorrent.com/torrent/2591600/Dragonheart+1996+BRrip+720p+Dual+Audio+Eng-Hindi~MSBHATTI.html

Don't worry. The health meter is full and colored green, meaning that this is a healthy file and the person who uploaded it, is trusted. But you need BitTorrent in order to get it, and there may be only 25 Seeds and 38 Leechers, so it may take a while, and it's a large file that comes with some other things, but once the file is done downloading on your BitTorrent program, you can watch the film and toggle between the English and Hindi language tracks.

Now onto the Hindi dubbing voice of Draco....I listened to his dialogue and his Hindi voice sounds very old and elderly (well yes, since the original actor Sean Connery was born in 1930), and this following Hindi dubbing artist may have been born in either the 1930s or the 1940s. We have yet to find the name of this artist. I did re-search and someone said that Abhishek Nayar did voice James Bond (which Connery is best known for playing as, throughout the 60s through the 80s), but it is unknown on which version that it was, but if it's not the one portrayed by Sean Connery, then it definitely can't be him.
