Linking to your own business

edit

Hi and welcome. Please note that it is inappropriate to add links to your own business as you have been doing. The website linked also does not meet our policy for external links as it is a commercial website that offers little information beyond pricing. If you would like you can take a look at some of the policies and policies that apply here: WP:COI for working with a conflict of interest and WP:EL for guidelines on external links. If you have any questions please feel free to ask and good luck editing in the future. --Leivick (talk) 22:33, 5 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you....Modernist (talk) 22:35, 5 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
