Nothing ever changes
editI see that you are back and very active. I also note that little if anything has changed wrt the problems with your editing. I already had to move one article where you had invented a name instead of ging with the sources you had provided.
I was now looking at AS (classification). It's junk. You changed your earlier lead "AS is a Paralympic rowing classification. The classifications were developed and current as of March 2011." (which was nonsense) to [1] "AS is a Paralympic rowing classification. It is for people who have shoulder function." which is considerably worse. I hope I don't have to explain to a "credentialed member of the press" who has "a doctorate in communications", and who "primarily women's sport articles, Australian sport articles and Paralympic articles" (sic!) what the problems with that lead section are.
The body of the article is not much better. You start well enough with the definition, although it would have been better if you had added or just used the explanation given in Adaptive rowing classification. At least that article learns us what "AS" stands for.
But then you add the section "disability gruops", which has lots of contents and no clear link with AS. AS is for "rowers who have no or minimal trunk function", F5 is for "People in this class have some trunk function". You give no explanation of why you spend so much text on F5 or which authority has declared F5 and AS to be the same. One of the sources you use there, [2] makes it clear that AS is not solely for T12 spinal injuries, but may have completely different origins as well.
That you spend an excessive amount of attention to Australia in these articles is well known by now. Why you use the Australian definition and not e.g. one of the FISA directly (page 6) is not clear, and why you use a redlinked Aussie as the sole example of a sporter in this category, and not one of the sporters with an article already (including at least one other Australian!) is also a mystery.
I'll redirect the article to Adaptive rowing classification as a service to our readers (although that article isn't really up to par either). Fram (talk) 13:29, 12 August 2016 (UTC)

The article Sierra Leone national cerebral palsy football team has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- There is no "Sierra Leone national cerebral palsy football team". There never has been one (at least, they never played a game or announced one). They were ranked 24th together with all other countries without a national team. There are no significant sources about the team, as it doesn't exist. Most of the sources are generic ones about cerebral palsy football (not the national team specifically), where Sierra Leone is mentioned.

- This is too good to be true! First of all, have a great time and don't forget to enjoy yourself. Secondly, quality is all well and good, but you know as well as I do that the scarcity of any images for our Paralympians is a real shocker. So just go snap happy. Sometimes we only need a lanyard, a time and date or a competitor number or a lane and we can work out many of the athlete. I had a quick explore after seeing this comment, and it looks like a rather easy mistake to make - Lili Xu vs Xu Lili - especially given Laura is at the Games and probably not on the best internet connection. - F!, I think that if u find it tiresome then you need to find a more useful subject area. This moaning about how difficult everything is means you need to find a more appreciative audience. If you sort mistakes into the "stupid mistakes" pile and the "amazing intelligent mistakes" then you will find that most of them are in the former group. - If this was her only mistake, I would agree. But she has made egregious mistakes in BLPs (and other articles for that matter) for years now, and it simply doesn't stop. You can see the above section "Nothing ever changes" for a dreadful article I redirected, or the deleted Sierra Leone national cerebral palsy football team and Kenya national cerebral palsy football team articles, or the massive changes I had to make to many paralympic calssification articles (with more yet to do) to get them somewhat better and remove the worst problems. Note that I am not the only one to see these problems, earlier this year a similar deletion happened at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Sint Maarten women's national football team. At the start of the year, she created Committee Paralimpic Andorra which was a made-up name. I also moved then Irma Khetsuriani back to her userspace because that BLP was filled with errors. One can go back years and years and always encounter the same kind of problems with her edits. Not to mention the execssive promotion of Australia and Australian athletes in many articles as well. - There is no long-standing issue. There is someone consistently going through another users' edits trying to find the smallest mistake to immediately blast her with them. The example above is both ridiculous and extremely telling. Demanding perfection in all edits is unreasonable, this is a wiki. And the way you address her - do you honestly expect anyone to engage with you when faced with such obvious hostility? I'm going to repeat what the users above have said: just leave Laura alone - other people do not mind at all helping her work in a very underrepresented topic on all language Wikipedias. As for whether anyone else needs to, when people know that someone is actively looking for errors, they get nervous, which might in itself cause errors. - SarahSV, I fully agree, if there is someone who wants to look at the issue and may be come up with a good solution it would be excellent. I did it couple of years ago, when there was a series of complaints by Fram. I found the complaints justified and I also improved the quality of a dozen of articles (at the time, these were Spanish Paralympians, and the articles were in need of copyediting). - I think this is a good idea SarahSV. If someone was willing to work with these admins who are finding that editors do not respond to their style then that would be a great idea. I'm sure the help that Ymblanter gave to Laura helped (did she think so?) and I think the principle could be extended to others who have a repeated history of causing problems and some constructive assistance would be a great idea. Perhaps those wanting to work with LauraHale could actually look at her edits and get her to improve. User:LauraHale/Guinea at the 2000 African Francophone Games for the Handicapped, created today, needed deleting for blatant BLP violations. If someone wants to write such an article about two redlinked persons, they at least need to make sure that all information in it is correct. Apart from the obvious BLP problem, it contained at least two serious factual errors in those two sentences, and one unverifiable claim. Which means that nearly all the information in it was wrong or very dubious. WP:BLP applies to all namespaces, not just the main namespace (where this article was eventually headed anyway). - You are bullying Fram. No one is taking any notice of your comments here. Laura, I'm sure, just reads the sign-off tag and then just ignores the stuff you post here. I would suggest she just deletes it. It doesn't matter how poor you consider her or her editting, because the only way to deal with bullying is to ignore it - which is what I would advise. I think there are a number of editors here who would help Laura if she asks, but it is you who needs help, but you have to want to change. I presume you don't like being friendly or you would do it more often. You have seen how unwelcome your comments are and how ineffective they are in making change but you still return to remind us of your abusive approach. If we have abusive editors and imperfect editors then its the latter we need most. We can fix articles but poor, bullying and ineffective communication requires you to appreciate that it needs fixing. It doesnt benefit you or the project and it just makes people less content with what should be an enjoyable and altruistic pastime. I try to appreciate that Laura's editting is making you unhappy and you want it to improve. Isn't that what we are saying to you? Don't edit to make people unhappy when there is clearly no benefit to you, her or the project. At least please refrain from posting on a users page who has asked you to not do so. If the problems continue, I'll take her to WP:AN wheer she may well face a lengthy block (BLP violations plus a long history of problematic editing). You are not doing her any favours by arguing that she shouldn't take notice of this. BLP violations are not some minor issue we should overlook to keep our editors happy. The article in question is contingent on two articles sourced from news sites in Guinea, and although I don't speak French all that well, the articles do point in the direction Laura was headed towards. The way I see it, if you're claiming that a BLP violation has happened, it's either because the sources are unreliable or the way the article was being written (in user space, mind you) should be put into question. If you're claiming the former, neither you nor I are in a position to judge the quality of sources from a country in West Africa, but I am willing to assume good faith because coming from a country in similar straits, I know how difficult it can be to find reliable information that can be sourced reliably on Wikipedia. Unless something better comes along, I am willing to accept those sources as reliable. However, if you're claiming the latter, it was pretty obvious that the article wasn't done, so I would've given her the benefit of the doubt. But worse of all, the article was in her user space — something which I'd think you know isn't easily accessible to non-Wikipedians if they were to search on-wiki. Deleting the article in mainspace as a G10 violation is something I can countenance, but in user space? Seriously now? BLP may apply to user space, yes, but BLP shouldn't and doesn't override, in my view, AGF, and especially the opportunity to let someone finish their work first so that when it's done, then we can judge it as whether it is a BLP violation or not. --Sky Harbor (talk) 15:42, 5 October 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks. It looks to me as if you have little or no experience in upholding our policies as an admin, and are not very familiar with them. Please read WP:BLPCRIME and compare it to the deleted page. Note also that, contrary to what the page said, the accused is not the president of the federation, but a club president, making him even less notable (not that it would otherwise have been acceptable). The page also made claims not supported by the sources anyway. So the problem is not with the sources (even though they seem to lack the "he says / she says" neutrality I'm more used to), but with the deleted page vs. our policies. Oh, and BLP always overrides AGF. How we deal with editors who make BLP violations can and often will include matters of AGF, but not how we deal with the content itself. I would suggest she just deletes it. It doesn't matter how poor you consider her or her editting, because the only way to deal with bullying is to ignore it - which is what I would advise. I think there are a number of editors here who would help Laura if she asks, but it is you who needs help, but you have to want to change. I presume you don't like being friendly or you would do it more often. You have seen how unwelcome your comments are and how ineffective they are in making change but you still return to remind us of your abusive approach. If we have abusive editors and imperfect editors then its the latter we need most. We can fix articles but poor, bullying and ineffective communication requires you to appreciate that it needs fixing. It doesnt benefit you or the project and it just makes people less content with what should be an enjoyable and altruistic pastime. I try to appreciate that Laura's editting is making you unhappy and you want it to improve. Isn't that what we are saying to you? Don't edit to make people unhappy when there is clearly no benefit to you, her or the project. At least please refrain from posting on a users page who has asked you to not do so. - Victuallers, I explained the policy to an admin who hardly ever admins and was clearly not aware of the applicable policies. You are not even aware of the contents of the deleted article. An article really doesn't have to be so outrageous to be deleted on sight. I have in the past deleted articles on people who may well have truly been serious criminals and nazis, like their articles stated. That a person is not a saint or the accusations not earth-shattering is not a reason to keep the contents around. But I get the distinct feeling that you don't really care what was in the article or what the policies governing these are. Africa currently has over 37,000 stubs and badly needs a quality improvement editathon/contest to flesh out basic stubs. There are proposed substantial prizes to give to editors who do the most geography, wildlife and women articles, and planned smaller prizes for doing to most destubs for each of the 53 African countries, so should be enjoyable! So it would be a good chance to win something for improving stubs on African Paralympians, particularly female ones, but also male. Even if contests aren't your thing we would be grateful if you could consider destubbing a few African articles during the drive to help the cause and help reduce the massive 37,000 + stub count, of which many are rated high importance (think Regions of countries etc). The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. I have started an essay on the concept of narrative flow, a concept that I think is largely undervalued in the encyclopedia in general. I decided to search for discussions where editors had raised the concept, figuring that such editors might want to chime in on the meaning of the concept and I found a mention by you. My name is David Alves (User:Horadrim~usurped), and I'm an Wikipedian in Residence at RIDC NeuroMat (User:Horadrim). I've reach your contact through the Wikimedian in residence page in Outreach. As you may know, Wikimania 2017 is coming! I am here because, as a fellow WiR, I believe this would be a great opportunity for us to share experiences, discuss difficulties and exchange solutions, creating a community among us capable of supporting in other projects that would benefit from residents.
