The order of the information is put into chronological order due to the year by year time frame that the author list the events in. It is easier to keep with which artist have returned to the festival from the previous year. During the 2010 event the author discusses why Beenie Man was asked to resign from his performance. Talking about who wasn’t in the showcase can tend to distract the reader from the true reason of the article. Throughout each year, the list of acts is listed and complete with links for the reader’s personal concern. By reading the article the author seemed to be coming from a place more of informing the reader, then to actually get the reader involved. Most of the information is straight facts, leaving no room for non-neutral phrases or words. Each of the acts is listed my name and categorized under the year they performed. The article definitely gives a neutral stand point being that the author is not taking any sides. More so is providing information. The sources tend to be more popular than academic. Since the information provided is none that needs hard evidence gives the popular source weight. I believe that article was great for informing but I believe it to need a little more personality. Maybe add some facts behind the history of the festival and what type of activities revolve around the event instead of just the performances. The article was extremely professional and written very properly. The structure of the article is something I would like to mirror in my article. Jcolby10 (talk) 14:56, 17 March 2016 (UTC)Reply
