I hope you won't take the recent discussion on the [[Talk:Knoxville, Tennessee] page too much to heart. I had a similar experience myself a month or two ago. The other guy was basically right, if a bit brusque. I hope you will continue contributing, especially to the Knoxville-related articles which need some work.

Also, if you follow the earlier discussion on the talk page about notability, you'll see that if a person is notable enough for a Wikipedia article but not necessarily in the top 20 or so notable Knoxvillians, you can still add them to the Category:Knoxvillians list.

Nomination of Dakota Watch Company for deletion
