Anne Lister edit

reading about Eliza Raine, I found her correct birth and death date and the source article from the parish church where she is buried. I corrected them in the article of her companion, Anne Lister. --Elisa.rolle (talk) 11:00, 5 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

Rose Standish Nichols edit

I added the burial place of Rose Standish Nichols with reference to the Mount Auburn Cemetery. --Elisa.rolle (talk) 11:02, 11 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

Willoughby Ions edit

The article states: "Born Estelle de Willoughby Ions in New Orleans, she was married twice." No source given. I actually own a copy of Lesbian and Gay Richmond, which, at page 16 states: "Neither Clark nor Ions married". Now I found in the past the Arcadia's books are not always precise, but it seems to me strange that Ions married twice, also considering she had her relationship with her family ruined by the fact she decided to live with Adele Clark, in what was, apparently, a lesbian relationship. Anyway, I'm not sure I should remove the sentence since I don't think it is false, just I was not able to find a reliable source confirming that fact. By the way, Ions is buried with her father, near Clark. No husband tomb is around. --Elisa.rolle (talk) 21:21, 23 January 2020 (UTC) ETA: the biographical information at the Virginia Historical Society said she married "briefly" twice in her youth. On newspapers she is always identified as "Miss"... strange as it is to be married twice in "young age", must be true. --Elisa.rolle (talk) 21:50, 23 January 2020 (UTC) ETA 2: trying to find about Willoughby, I found about her aunt, Lelia N. Ions, founder of the Petersburgh School for Nurse in 1895: [1] and [2]. --Elisa.rolle (talk) 22:20, 23 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

Elisa.rolle, I did a little work here. Couldn't replace the one dead link, though —valereee (talk) 18:01, 16 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
Valereee, thank you Valereee, sorry if I'm not really present these days, but while I was able to avoid COVID-19, I have double pneumonia, I'm always very tired. Elisa.rolle (talk) 18:22, 16 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
Elisa, oh no, I'm so sorry! Be well! I'm glad you didn't end up with the virus, take care! —valereee (talk) 19:22, 16 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
Elisa, please take care of yourself! I can't imagine what life is like in Italy at this time, but even in the best of times Wikipedia is the least of your worries. If you have pneumonia please be well and forget about this place. Victoria (tk) 20:34, 16 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Been a year edit

Do we have remaining concerns? —valereee (talk) 20:38, 6 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Valereee, the question wasn't of course to me, but I wanted to let you know I was out for the past two weeks and didn't check the internet. As I said, when I requested to be unblocked, my purpose was just to do maintenance of the articles I wrote, and maybe some quick edits of small facts if I noticed something. That is actually what I did in the past year, and what I would like to continue doing. My life has drastically changed, and most of my enthusiasm is gone, but sometime some sparks are still active. Elisa.rolle, hi, Elisa! I'm sorry most of your enthusiasm is gone. That makes me really sad. I hope at some point it'll come back. I hope the changes in your life are more good than bad, and I hope your pneumonia is better and that you've still managed to avoid COVID-19. Here in Ohio, we are still pretty much locked down, or at least those of use who don't think this is all a giant hoax to prevent Trump from being re-elected. :) —valereee (talk) 22:24, 8 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Ethel Pye edit

I created this stub Ethel Pye, can someone look at it and mark it as such? moreover I used some sentences from Sybil Pye, marking it in the references, but please can someone check it as well and let me know if I have to change them? Elisa.rolle (talk) 13:16, 15 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
