January 2016 edit

I see you have a copy of the article Osmanlı İmparatorluğu on Turkish Wikipedia in a sandbox. There are several things you should know about this.

  1. Copying content from one Wikipedia page to another without saying where you copied it from is a violation of Wikipedia's licensing terms, and an infringement of authors' copyright. You must say where you copied from: the best way to do that is in an edit summary.
  2. This is the English language version of Wikipedia, and all contributions should be in English. Turkish content belongs only in Turkish Wikipedia.
  3. Can you please say why you have the article in a sandbox in English Wikipedia? If it is a first step in preparing content for use in English Wikipedia (such as a translation of the Turkish article) then that is fine, provided you follow the two points above, but if it isn't related to working for English Wikipedia then it doesn't belong here.
