I'm sorry, but I think you're misinterpreting the talk page there. I did want to delete the article, as did the other correspondent. We were arguing about how to go about it. We were proposing a delete not because we have anything against the author, or against his work, but because even in a revised state, it fails at least two standards of Wikipedia: Wikipedia is not a publisher of original thought/free web host and original fiction, particularly unpublished fiction, is inappropriate for Wikipedia. Further, he was inserting portions of his fiction into other articles where, unfortunately, it has no justification for being at this moment. Certainly, I hope he realizes his dream of getting his work noticed by George Lucas and placed in the Expanded Universe, but until that happens, we don't have a place for him in main article space. Having said all that, I think that placing it in his userspace is a good compromise. Have a good one. Pat Payne 22:35, 1 June 2006 (UTC)
