The Hard Way (Owsley album)

I don't know if you've noticed, but this page has been greatly cleaned up by myself and another user. Also, all albums by notable artists are generally considered to be notable themselves. It might be wise to withdraw your AfD nomination for the article. Ten Pound Hammer and his otters(Broken clamshellsOtter chirps) 17:43, 31 January 2008 (UTC)

I honestly dont know how. Can you please guide? UzEE (TalkContribs) 23:55, 31 January 2008 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of Alexander Tzannes

A tag has been placed on Alexander Tzannes requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. UzEE (TalkContribs) 01:23, 1 February 2008 (UTC)

Please reconsider this deletion. I have added a significant work by this architect to the article and will add more of his work after more research. J Bar (talk) 01:41, 1 February 2008 (UTC)
Hi. Adding more info to the article doesnt add to its notability. Besides, your comments indicate that you are doing research. Please refer to WP:NOR for more information. UzEE (TalkContribs) 01:56, 1 February 2008 (UTC)

my fellow virgo

Yes of course, we should collaberate. What initially drew me to your userpage was the afd that started on Hail Destroyer. There are a number of problem with it. I understand that you couldn't speedy it because it didn't fit into any of the speedy criteria (unfortunatly there's no criteria for albums), but afd might not be the correct way to go about it. I've gotten yelled at for bringing something to the afd a minute after it's creation. Indeed, the article had been improved considerably since the nomination. What I would have done (and was about to do before you afd'd it) was to prod it. Also, there seems to be some sort of malfunction in that there are two nominations. I'm not sure why that happened. In any case, the reason for deletion has to be updated because the article is updated. It might be deletable under WP:MUSIC and WP:CRYSTAL. --brewcrewer (yada, yada) 02:09, 1 February 2008 (UTC)

This actually happened a few days before too. After I AFDed an album with no artist nor other sourced info, someone found it to be notable. But what happened today, I just noticed the double nomination, and it didnt even end up at the list of articles for February 1. I think Twinkle malfunctioned. What do you suggest should be done? It is debatable under music. UzEE (TalkContribs) 02:17, 1 February 2008 (UTC)
I know nothing about Twinkle, so I can't help you with that. If you want to continue with the afd, I guess you should do it the old fashioned way - delete one of the afd's and manually place it on the deletion log. As for the afd itself, it looks like a close call. According to WP:MUSIC, if the band is notable then its albums are notable and there's a whole article about the band (although I'm not sure the band is really that notable). It might also be deletable under WP:CRYSTAL. But if you want to change your mind about the afd, you can. As long as the article didn't go the deletion log, I think that you can just remove the afd tag. Hope I helped. --brewcrewer (yada, yada) 02:26, 1 February 2008 (UTC)
I was thinking the same thing. I would remove the Afds. The band has an article, and is signed to a major label. This always raises the keep level. So the Afd would end up with the keep decision. As for WP:CRYSTAL, once the Afd is active, someone would find a source since the album is by a major label, so that wont also be debatable. Oh and on a side note, here is Twinkle. The Dragon Ball portal

Should we put it up for deletion? I don't feel like contributing to that anymore. Besides, you haven't responded to my last concern and I don't think anyone else cares. Please reply on your talk page, Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 17:38, 28 January 2008 (UTC)

Actually I started working on it bu then I got busy in my final exams. I would get back to it as soon as I get free. There is no need to delete it. Once its complete, I think people would take interest. UzEE (TalkContribs) 00:46, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
Just so you know, you're not allowed (at least by Wikipedia guidelines) to alter another user's comment[1]. I won't give you a {{Notyours}} warning (nor revert) because I know you're a very good editor and you weren't aware of this rule. I trust that you know this from now on. Cheers! Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 22:50, 1 February 2008 (UTC)
It's ok. If there's anything you would ever like to know about policies and guidelines, ask away. Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 03:10, 2 February 2008 (UTC)

Help desk listing

Hey. User:Smsarmad had made a listing on the help desk regarding your behavior of not allowing him to remove himself from your contact list. I figured I would just contact you so that you could be aware of it. The list can be found here. SorryGuy  Talk  20:55, 3 February 2008 (UTC)

RE: Hi, About your recent comments

I'll think about your request to stay with the project, but I honestly can't stand the excessive work and criticism anymore. I've been pondering leaving the Dragon Ball project for months now, I may still edit the Dragon Ball articles, but defnintely not as frequently. There's just way too much work that has to be done. And I'm tired of dealing with the fan-boy edits, I'm tired of dealing with the editing styles of certian members, and most of all I'm tired of having to deal with the policies that Wikipedia throws at us. Ninty percent of the issues that happen with the articles that are included in this project are because of the policies and guidelines that Wikipedia has regarding fictional character articles. I think that it's time that I at least took a break from here, but knowing my luck, everything will be f*cked up and changed when I come back. Suggestions?--VorangorTheDemon (talk) 07:00, 4 February 2008 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of 12-Crown-4

You marked 12-Crown-4 for speedy deletion. The creator of the article removed the notice from the article, despite being bold-warmed to "not remove this notice from pages that you have created yourself". That seemed wrong to me; so I thought that you should be notified.
I have no idea how/why the topic deserves an article of its own—the chemical is just one of tens of thousands; why is it special? Should there be an article for every chemical listed in a handbook?
86.160.35.75 (talk) 14:48, 5 February 2008 (UTC)

Apparently, Chemistry thinks the article is notable. Thats why the deletion tag was removed. On a side note, it wasn't removed by the creator, rather a good faith editor removed that and placed the page under Chemicals.  UzEE  00:11, 6 February 2008 (UTC)

Category:Wikipedians who are Bahrians

Hi! I just want to let you know that I modified {{User Bahrian}} and {{User Bahrian2}} – which you created – to categorise pages into Category:Wikipedians by alma mater: Bahria University, which matches the standard naming convention of subcategories of Category:Wikipedians by alma mater, instead of Category:Wikipedians who are Bahrians. Cheers, Black Falcon (Talk) 23:59, 5 February 2008 (UTC)

Hello, no problem. Anything for the Policies. Thanks.  UzEE  00:05, 6 February 2008 (UTC)

Slipknot (Album) review

Thank You for rating the Slipknot (album) article, a few of us in the Slipknot Wikiprject have worked on it a lot lately. I was just wondering if you could give us a few more suggestions as what needs to be fixed, I would appreciate it. Thanks Again!Blackngold29 (talk) 00:08, 6 February 2008 (UTC)

Actually, I gave the article the highest possible rating I could give under albums project. You can further improve the article by giving more detailed information on the single releases, and tiding up the track listing a bit. Overall the article is well referenced and well edited, and fully conforms to the quality scale guidelines of WP:ALBUMS. With a little more touch ups it would be good to be nominated for a Good Article Review.  UzEE  00:24, 6 February 2008 (UTC)

nice work!

Nice work on Islamabad. Cheers, Kingturtle (talk) 03:41, 10 February 2008 (UTC)

Thanks

Hey thanks for the nice welcome. I am actually not new, though, but have been on wikipedia for quite some time now. Just haven't really made a lot of contributions as of yet. --Xander756 (talk) 18:39, 10 February 2008 (UTC)

Oh sorry bout that. I didnt see you on WP:DBZ before so thought you were new.  UzEE  21:52, 10 February 2008 (UTC)

Reference Help

Hey. I have the references but I do not know how to put them into the article. Usually, I would wait for someone else to put up the references. I have been trying to figure it out on my own and I think I got it, it just takes a while for me to complete. Maybe you can make it more clear for me. Thanks. SeptemberX1990 (talk) 14:46, 10 February 2008 (UTC)

Thanks a lot for your help. I'll check out WPCITE in hopes that the next time I reference would be easier. Thanks again. SeptemberX1990 (talk) 01:47, 11 February 2008 (UTC)

Agent007ravi‎

Reason why I removed it is because the user refused to follow the alphabetical name format described here. What are you saying? Will you make sure every name is placed correctly? If so, the description needs to be worded differently. Thoughts? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 01:17, 19 February 2008 (UTC)

Well, the instructions are rather easy to follow suit. Refusal to do so should result in removing their name. In your opinion, is it too strict? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 05:02, 20 February 2008 (UTC)
I read your edit and would like to hear your opinion though regarding the warning. Honestly, I feel it's helpful because there have been too many who just don't pay attention. Thoughts? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 05:17, 20 February 2008 (UTC)
Agreed. Let's give it a try. Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 05:22, 20 February 2008 (UTC)
