Spammy edit

The content you added was way to promotional. Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 09:15, 17 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

Re:Spammy edit

@Doc James Without removing the whole article, you could have edited or even commented on the required sections. Right? Then me or someone can make it proper.

Help edit

Hi @Doc James, Just added back the personal data. Need input from you to make this part proper. Any help is appreciated. Please don't remove the whole part, just comment. I personally know Dr. Bose, and he requested me to improve this article. I am asking your help. Thanks in advance.

Your recent edits edit

  Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button (  or  ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 05:34, 19 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

Conflict of interest in Wikipedia, socking edit

Hi Utsavde39 I work on conflict of interest issues here in Wikipedia. Your edits to date are pretty much all about Sudip Bose and are somewhat promotional. I'm giving you notice of our Conflict of Interest guideline and Terms of Use, and will have some comments and requests for you below.

  Hello, Utsavde39. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your circle, your organization, its competitors, projects or products;
  • instead propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you.

Comments and requests edit

Wikipedia is a widely-used reference work and managing conflict of interest is essential for ensuring the integrity of Wikipedia and retaining the public's trust in it. As in academia, COI is managed here in two steps - disclosure and a form of peer review. Please note that there is no bar to being part of the Wikipedia community if you want to be involved in articles where you have a conflict of interest;; there are just some things we ask you to do (and if you are paid, some things you need to do).'

So, you actually disclosed your connection to Bose here. Will you please acknowledge that you have a conflict of interest on this article? If you don't understand that, please ask and I will explain it to you. Please reply here - I am watching this page.

Also, would you please let me know if you have edited under other accounts here? It is actually not OK to do that, but if you have and you disclose it now, it is OK - we can fix it. Just let me know. Thanks! Jytdog (talk) 04:16, 22 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

Mr. Burt Constable of Daily Herald? edit

You are saying that this guy hired you to work on the Bose article? Do you know that WP:BLP applies everywhere in WP? Jytdog (talk) 07:59, 25 February 2016 (UTC)Reply
