UTA alumni and sourcing edit

Greetings! I see you uploaded a long list of alumni to University of Texas at Arlington. The list was removed for two reasons:

  1. A number of the alumni are not notable, as evidenced by the lack of articles about them (red links).
  2. The list did not cite a reliable source.

In general, the alumni list within an article should be a limited list of the most well-known, notable alumni. Their status as alumni should be traceable to a reliable source. It may be appropriate, if the list is long and well-sourced, to put the list in a separate article. In that case, only a minimal list and a pointer to the full list would exist in the university's article.

I know the guidelines can be confusing, so if you have any questions, feel free to ask. —C.Fred (talk) 01:52, 28 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

UTA Updates edit

I saw you attempted to expand the list of UTA alumni, although it appears you only made a few edits several months ago and have been inactive since. In case you are interested, I've created and updated several UTA pages in the past few days including:

I've added references for all the alumni and will continue to work on it. It would be good to see a few more articles created for the individual colleges and sports programs. EMBaero (talk) 23:19, 8 February 2010 (UTC)EMBaeroReply
