Re: Disagreement over name edit

Placing the year in parentheses is the commonly accepted way of putting it into the title in such cases; see WP:MILHIST#Naming conventions. I'm not sure what the substantive difference there would be, though; it's important primarily to distinguish this invasion from the other invasions of Cyprus (Turkish or otherwise), not because there's some particular significance to the date itself.
