Hi! Thank you for your contributions to the page Manuel Pinho on Wikipedia, we are always welcoming to new editors! However, I have noticed that all of your edits so far have been to that article, and have all been changing the article (correctly or not) to have a more positive tone towards the subject. This leads me to believe you may have a conflict of interest in this subject area. It is strongly advised that you refrain from editing in such areas, as it is hard for you to maintain a neutral point of view when doing so if you have a personal or professional relationship to the subject of an article. Additionally, you may not be sufficiently objective to determine if material is libelous. If you do indeed have a conflict of interest around Manuel Pinho, please follow the guidelines at WP:COI, remembering to disclose the COI on the talk page of any affected articles. Hi. Sorry to disagree, however writing an article about a living person centered on a personal and biased view based on Portuguese reports about his resignation and on a local debate about a joint EDP- Columbia project reflects a very biased view. In the US this cannot happen, therefore the whole article has no credibility. I will give you examples. Is there any source that confirms that he was hired through a private company grant? Of course there is not because it is untrue. Have you visited his so called luxury condominium? I have not. How do you know that it is luxury? Do you have any proof that his former wife is a fashion entrepreneur? I have not. All of the above is in sharp contrast with how he is described by the Financial Times, Washington Post, New York Times, etc.(sources in the article) about the person. Someone is wrong, either the most respected international press, or an anonymous editor. The issue is not about Manuel Pinho´s credibility, it is instead an issue about Wikipedia being used to convey personal attacks with political motivations that seen from outside a small country look very tacky. It is really up to you.

Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Manuel Pinho. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you.  —SMALLJIM  21:22, 17 March 2016 (UTC)Reply
