I need help.

Hi. I read through the crypto stuff but I do not understand where (or in what specifically) I insert my secret code. Is there a box somewhere?

Suppose my secret code is "See spot run." Where to I write that?

When I do, will that return some sort of alphanumerical, 15-digit, secret harsh (one digit for each letter and each space plus all puncuation marks, quotations included) ?

And then do I take that secret 15-digit hash and insert it into the following script upon the edit-summary page for the page upon which I wish to see the end result ?

{{User committed identity|hash|hash function used|background=CSS color|border=CSS color|article=grammatical article for the hash function}}

Honestly, the Template:User committed identity subsection labeled "How" needs to be rewritten from the point of view of helping novices create a result. It is currently too unfriendly for bozos like me to understand.

Looking forward to your assistance. Toby Ornott (talk) 12:45, 14 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
