Help me!

Please help me with...

Hi, I've done enough to my first article and am ready to submit it for review. It is in my sandbox at UnlikelySailor, a bio about Reese Palley. As I was working on it the last few months there was always a box I could click on to submit it for review and publication. Now that I'm ready to do that, the button is gone! Arrgh. Thank you for any help you can give me. I have also asked this question on the Teahouse, wasn't sure if I should but thought it couldn't hurt. Thank you! Butch

It looks as though the sandbox template (with the blue submit button) has already been restored - you can also add the code {{subst:submit}} to start the submission process. However, in its current state it will be rejected instantly, as the page contains no inline citations to reliable, independent sources to verify its content. Please have a look at WP:RS and WP:V, and add references to the article (a simple introductory guide is available here). The article itself looks fairly good in and of itself (although the quotations section should be removed), but without inline references, there's no way it's going to be accepted. Hi UnlikelySailor, I have edited the draft to give you an example on how to "combine" references (make several citations to a single reference). See [1]. As you can see I give a name to one of the references (so you replace <ref> with <ref name="insertname">). I then remove all other references and replace them with the code <ref name="insertname" />. If you have any questions let me know. All the best, Taketa (talk) 22:15, 1 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom 2018 election voter message

edit

Hello, UnlikelySailor. Voting in the 2018 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 3 December. All users who registered an account before Sunday, 28 October 2018, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Thursday, 1 November 2018 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
