This article, like many articles about musical equipment, already suffers from extensive original research and lack of citations. Please avoid contributing to that problem if you can. Hi @Popcornfud:, Matrixsynth and Encyclotronic (both referenced by me) are, IMHO, typically reliable; and Encyclotronic along with Polynominal is my typical first-stop go-to source for HW info/specs, manuals etc. Is there a common opinion that the former two, like Vintage Synth, are not considered to be a reliable source? Btw - i acquired the DX1 Owners Manual which enables me to cross-reference. I can update accordingly. UniversalNation (talk) 15:02, 2 November 2020 (UTC)
- I'm not sure if Matrixsynth and Encyclotronic would pass as reliable sources on Wikipedia. They may contain accurate information, but Wikipedia also looks for evidence of editorial oversight and factchecking and that sort of thing. If this article were one day submitted for FAC, for example, I think reviewers would ask "What makes these high-quality reliable sources?"
- It might be worth asking for opinions at WP:ALBUM; if there is a consensus either way we can update the list at WP:RSINSTRUMENT for future reference. It's often difficult to find reliable online sources we can use for articles about music gear, so the more sources we can get approval for, the better!

- Ok understood, i've updated the article; please review if you wish to do so. (Yes, display section _is_ detailed, as this is a definitive feature of that particular gear, but which may be too detailed for some people...)
- PS: These days, it is less and less fun for me to edit WP articles. Reason: even when writing product, systems or tool documentation in various formats at my corporate job, there are not so many guidelines, rules and exceptions to follow respective to first find out about and also memorize. - Yeah, I write in tech and I certainly have fewer rules to follow there than I do on Wikipedia. But I think following Wikipedia policy overwhelmingly produces better articles.
