December 2018 edit

Hello, I'm Farooqahmadbhat. I noticed that you made changes to the articles, Peter Capaldi and Gerard Butler, but you didn't provide a source. I've removed it for now, but if you'd like to include constructive citations to a reliable source and re-add it, please feel free to do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks (Farooqahmadbhat (talk) 04:32, 15 December 2018 (UTC))Reply

Nationality edit

Please don't batch change UK nationalities on articles without explanation.

Uk nationalities are complicated and there is no one-size-fits-all solution to how they should be used. With this in mind a guide has been written. Please read it and don't change nationalities without good cause or explanation. Thanks. --Escape Orbit (Talk) 16:59, 15 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

Pathetic! edit

Am British And There is no complexity ! If you don’t know! Say you don’t,

there is only British citizenship there is no Scottish and there’s no welsh nor English passports ! there’s United Kingdom of Great Britain, It’s British citizenship only. United10000 (talk) 17:03, 15 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia is not a passport and not a certificate of citizenship. It is therefore free to describe the nationality of people however it wishes, as guided by the sources and the individual's personal preference. If you have sources that make clear that a particular person is better described with a different nationality, then please provide. Otherwise, please don't trawl through Wikipedia mass-changing articles to suit your own preference. Thanks. --Escape Orbit (Talk) 17:10, 15 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
