Welcome and a suggestion

edit

Welcome to the editing world of Wikipedia. We really could use new editors with the kind of detailed knowledge that you offer. You should find this public service satisfying and educational. A couple of suggestions though. As a newer editor, you should consider a series of small contributions where you can learn the style and expectations for these articles. For example, for references, we prefer fewer and general references - we are not trying to emulate a journal! We want just a few references to the overview articles (books, reviews!) or the paper describing the "original discovery." And the standards are now that we expect titles and DOI's - these items help general readers far more than a bland list of concisely listed references - WE is an encyclopedia, not a journal again. And you will learn a lot here - for example, your depictions of pi-complexes are in essence optical illusions (impossible structures based on line crossings). Those pointers, which we all got when we started here, are more easily assimilated through a series of short contributions rather than dropping in semi-full articles. The idea here is that the Wikipedia articles are far better when they are collaboratively written, so consider starting small. By the way, I hope that you turn your experienced eyes toward the other organometallic articles sprinkled about this space, because we are always looking for new collaborators.
