WP:3K

Check out the shortcuts (WP:3K-NC, WP:3K-BIO etc) I've created for some parts of the project page. We can use these shortcuts in edit summaries to replace lengthy explanations when we revert edits. I've also added a section for "Family" in WP:3K-BIO. Maybe you can help to write something for that part. We need to impose limits on who to include in family sections, or else we'll see editors starting to add family members for Three Kingdoms people up to 18 generations. I like to add more comments here. Let's visit Incident at Gaoping Tombs. I added Empress Dowager Guo (郭太后). If there is 郭太后 characters, it is very helpful to someone like me, cause 郭太后 teaches that 郭 character is sounded like guo in chinese. Also they are very hhelpful to distinguish Zhang Yi. There is so many Zhang Yi. You surely know that there are so many Zhang's in china. How could we distinguish them? There spelling!(Gauge00 (talk) 08:56, 22 August 2012 (UTC))

Hello I'd like to add one more time. I added 大將軍 at General-in-Chief (大將軍). I added (大將軍) mainly because I DO NOT know exactly what the 大將軍 is, so I searched 大將軍 in wiki, just copied it on my page. The reason is simple, I wanted someone who have so much knowledge about chinse histoy and chinese lauguage would come. He could delete 大將軍 because he thinks " 大將軍 is here translated general-in-chief. OK. good tranlation! Haha some moron once tranlated 大將軍 as chef-in-chicken, but gauge00 translated correctly here" Therefore if you not know what the 大將軍 is at 100% certainty, you should not delete it!!!

In Zhage Jue I added General of the People (人公將軍: Lord of Human). Yes I do not know what translation is correct. General of the People is original one, which exists before, Lord of Human is from the A tranlation. deleted as per request. 龐舒 is "Pang Shu" and he's actually historical as his name was mentioned once in the 英雄記 ====== I wanted to say that wiki search for 龐舒 shows NO result. There is NO page that contains 龐舒. If someone wanted to know about 龐舒 in wiki, and he does not know the 'Pang Shu, he certainly be frustrated! Same story could be applied to 人公將軍. I do have to wonder why would anyone want to search in Chinese on the English Wikipedia, but I digress. The translation issue is a valid one, and we typically follow the scholar Rafe de Crespigny's translation for consistency. Cao Ren maybe a good translation for 曹仁 for chinese people. However there are koreans and vietnamese and japanese. They have different pronunciation of 曹仁. For them Cao Ren could not be helpful to know what the Cao Ren is. So for them 曹仁 could be a good hint. As you said, this wiki is English wiki. But other languages users visist this English wiki. Danish, Irish, German, French, Indian users could follow Cao Ren pronunciatin easily for 曹仁. However, vietnamese, koreans, japanses have their own chinese pronunciations already. Anyway just thought. There are Danish, Irish, German, French, Indian, Vietnamese, Korean, and Japanese Wikipedias. Plus, countries that use the Latin alphabets mostly follow pinyin to romanize Chinese characters anyway. I mean, the "He will destroy Hong Kong by 2017." line should be addressed by adding in appropriate documentation regarding the protests... That way any more vandalism can be avoided.

In fact, why not make an entire section about it?
