Hola!

The "See also" section is for internal, "Wikilinkis", see:

External links should go in the, imagine that, the "External links" section:[1]

Math rating template

I noticed you have added the maths rating template to several article talk pages. When you do that, please take the time to fill in the class, importance, and field parameters. The only purpose of the maths rating template is to rate articles; the List of mathematics articles is generated without use of talk page tags and is extremely complete. This is a different system than other wikiprojects use, so it can be confusing for editors when they start adding maths rating templates. — Carl (CBM · talk) 14:10, 10 July 2008 (UTC)

P.S. I enjoyed reading through Kempner series, a classical topic I had never learned about. You can rate articles like that when you create them. Anyone else can always change the rating later if they disagree. — Carl (CBM · talk) 14:15, 10 July 2008 (UTC)

DYK? nom

Hi. I've nominated Tobacco Institute, an article you worked on, for consideration to appear on the Main Page as part of Wikipedia:Did you know. You can see the hook for the article at Template talk:Did you know#Articles created/expanded on August 2, where you can improve it if you see fit. Congratulations on making this great article and teaching me something new about Big Tobacco, CB (ö) 05:30, 2 August 2008 (UTC)

Brun's sieve

Thanks for your comments — I was following Cojocaru and Murty so if I have misquoted by all means correct the article. I don't have the book to hand right now. Richard Pinch (talk) 06:16, 8 August 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for that, I have my copy back again and agree with the corrections you made. Richard Pinch (talk) 18:53, 8 August 2008 (UTC)

South Valley and the table of most populous New Mexico cities

I created the table, and that whole section! back when i had my previous account.. south valley has the population to be on the table..i just forgot to add it. I used to make most the edits on the new mexico page.., i think i know what i'm doing.. you need to stop with your "talk about it in the discussion page", thats not the way the editors do things around here. Brandynman (talk) 21:05, 8 August 2008 (UTC)

Your "previous account"? Hmmm....
That table was initially created (see here) by Martinez07, known sockpuppet of PoliticianTexas. Thanks for making this one easy for me!

If you like..

If you like editing the Albuquerque page here on wikipedia, why dont you mabe help out with keeping the city seal or adding one for yourself instead of trying to remove it. Dowhatyoudo (talk) 01:32, 29 August 2008 (UTC)

And speaking of PoliticianTexas Dowhatyoudo, it appears we've been doing a great deal of the same tracking down work lately. What say you to divvying it up so that we're not duplicating each other's efforts?

Image

I noticed you marked my image for deletion, i notice you like to do that to numberous images that are on this site, i dont see the problem for keeping the Albuquerque Montage image other cities like houston have simular images with poor info on the montage photo.. so maybe you should look into other photos as well, i wanna make the albuquerque page look nice like all the others.. but we need to work together in doing that right? i mean what did you join wikipedia for? just to mark images for deletion? LamyQ (talk) 03:35, 18 September 2008 (UTC)

How do you figure?

I dont understand how you think the logo was stolen from this link: http://www.sportslogos.net/logo.php?id=2417.. when the two pictures dont even look alike? not the same color or nothing, nothing can be proven. I dont understand why you would mark it as that?! unless you yourself would like to re-upload it and do a favor for the school.. i would like some responces LamyQ (talk) 02:19, 24 September 2008 (UTC)

Responces?

Ever going to give me a responce? LamyQ (talk) 03:37, 24 September 2008 (UTC)

Re: Montages

Ok...Really?! Well have you looked at the Houston page? how come that montage hasnt been marked for deletion? LamyQ (talk) 04:40, 24 September 2008 (UTC)

I want to know.

Dear Unica,

You have failed to reply to me, just about everytime.. why are you not responding.. i have re-uploaded the image becuase it is the schools logo, it is not from the site you have attached to the message, it is not self made. It belongs to the school. I want to know why you keep wanting to have it deleted? your not doing this fair, everytime i upload an image! I make sure these images belong to me, or are REAL logos with proper permission, dont go talking about me in other people's talk pages, instead you yourself should write back. LamyQ (talk) 23:53, 29 September 2008 (UTC)

Logos...Logos..

ASU dont need to approve nothin' silly, the school has had that logo for awhile, ASU would have already sued the school, and the link you showed me is the wrong logo the schools offical athletic logo is here [1] i used to go to the school, belive me i know way more than you do about the logo, i dont mean that in a sarcastic way. :) LamyQ (talk) 00:12, 30 September 2008 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Albuquerque New Mexico logo.gif)

Thanks for uploading Image:Albuquerque New Mexico logo.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 06:49, 1 October 2008 (UTC)

Photographs of Spaña

Hi. Sorry, but I don't have any photographs of Española other than the ones I've uploaded (and garden and natural-history pictures that have nothing much to do with the town). At the moment I'm not a photographer, either :-) I broke my camera. However, I've going to replace it or get it fixed some time not too far away, and then I'll be able to take some pictures of the high school and such, since you think it would be useful. —JerryFriedman (Talk) 22:45, 4 October 2008 (UTC)

It was nice and quiet...

and then I noticed that today, Dayewalker tagged JosephTatum (talk · contribs) as a sock puppet. What do you think?

My own opinion is that if is him at least he's learned to use summaries, which is a major step forward!   Dori (TalkContribs) 04:47, 12 November 2008 (UTC)

He edits the same pages (we've already noted that almost no one except PolTx is interested in Española Valley High School), which is pretty strong evidence. His style has always been erratic, sometimes almost illiterate and sometimes very smooth, which has made me wonder if he has some meatpuppets too. In any case, he has been blocked indefinitely as a PolTx sock by Nishkid64. The banning does seem to have made it easier to get him blocked (just one notice on ANI), and Dayewalker has been hounding him since he was banned, so maybe you and I won't have as much work to do! --Uncia (talk) 15:51, 12 November 2008 (UTC)

Hi,

I have attempted to clarify the copyright status of the mural itself. Let me know if there is any additional information you would like me to provide regarding the copyright status of this image. Ryan Utt (talk) 04:10, 8 December 2008 (UTC)

"Image: Albuquerque, NM" and "Image:El Paso, TX" dispute

Uncia,

I just uploaded these images at Commons but says that it will be deleted.

Well, the truth is that I was new at uploading pictures, but I didn't understand the instructions at uploading these pictures. I kinda need help uploading pictures at Commons.

If you have any questions, please contact me at my talk page at User:KingScreamer.

Thank You

Photographs of Española

Hi. A couple months ago you asked me to take pictures of Española Valley High School, which I can now do, since I have a camera again and some time. Are there other things in this town that I could take useful photos of? —JerryFriedman (Talk) 05:40, 18 December 2008 (UTC)

Okay, I should be able to do some of that (though probably no lowriders till the weather warms up, and I may not take a picture of McCurdy till there are leaves on the trees, which make it prettier). In the meantime, there's this one, though I added it to the article back in March, which means someone must have removed it. —JerryFriedman (Talk) 17:00, 19 December 2008 (UTC)

Spelling of Albuquerque

Sorry about that! When I reviewed my page, and didn't see red link, I hadn't noticed I spelled it wrong. Since there is a redirect from the misspelled version, I guess it's a common error? The27thMaine (talk) 03:29, 23 December 2008 (UTC)

Use of Convert template in Otero County, New Mexico

Thanks for your note: I should note that I disagree with the result you get. Not saying that you have bad mathematics :-) The thing is that the source isn't the National Association of Counties, but the US Census Bureau. I don't remember how to get the area for counties from the Census Bureau website (we really could improve referencing there, to be sure), and my computer has always had trouble getting through the Census Bureau website for technical reasons. If you'd like to see a source for the Census Bureau giving these numbers, you'd do best to ask someone such as Omnedon, who knows how to use that website far better than I. In short: since the source is the Census Bureau website, and since the Bureau doesn't often make that kind of mistake, I'm assuming that the discrepancy is some rounding error. Sorry to cause confusion. Nyttend (talk) 16:52, 31 December 2008 (UTC)
