Rhön Mountains edit
Hi Umpf-da. I appreciate your edits on this article. I can see that you were trying to improve or clarify the text. However, some did not quite work. I understand what you are trying to say by writing that the mountains are "located at the fringe of" the 3 states, but it doesn't sound right and isn't quite true. The Rhön are not just on the edge of the 3 states, but extend quite some distance into at least 2 of them. The existing wording that they "lie within" the 3 states is true, albeit rather vague as it does not indicate the extent. I don't agree that "lie within" is the same as saying it's a "subset of" which is a mathematically precise term that would be wrong. I think what I may do is reword the sentence completely to capture what you are trying to convey i.e. that the mountains occupy the border region where the 3 states meet.
I hope you don't give up on Wikipedia. We have to accept that it's a collaborative effort and we frequently have to compromise or just let things go, but hopefully overall it's an improvement. In the case of the Rhön Mountains I expanded it around seven times from a stubby article to something much more informative based on the German Wiki article.
