Proposed deletion of article, and editing generally edit

The article UN Convention on Conventional Weapons‎ has been proposed for deletion. The proposed-deletion notice added to the article should explain why.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

I've also reverted this addition to the Mercenary page, as it is speculative commentary, and unsourced. It's worth reading up on the some of core policies and guidelines here before adding content or creating articles - maybe start with WP:5P. At the end of the day, content here has to be well-sourced, verifiable and written from a neutral point of view. Good luck otherwise. --Nickhh (talk) 10:29, 15 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Launch Time edit

The article Launch Time has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No RIS found to support this article, and no obvious redirect target as it seems to be a minor development that may not even have seen the light of day.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
