Chew Stoke village sign

Village sign depicting the Pack Horse Bridge, St Andrew's Church and a Bilbie bell (and bell-foundry worker)

Would the village sign of Chew Stoke be of interest. It depicts the Pack Horse Bridge bridge in the village, St Andrew's Church and a Bilbie bell (and bell-foundry worker) see Bilbie family. The image shown is the original artwork (used with permission) but I could go out & take a photo tomorrow if useful - but I don't quite undestand why you want to collect these.— Rod talk 21:02, 20 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hi, A proper picture of the sign would be even better. I just think it's nice to include some pictures in the town & village articles and including a village sign if there is one is a nice picture to add. -- Uksignpix (talk) 10:52, 21 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
OK I nipped over the road & took the pic now at File:Chew Stoke village sign.JPG but I don't think there is room to add it to the Chew Stoke article.— Rod talk 11:16, 21 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
Sorry I didn't reply earlier as I don't logon very often. Thanks. That's great. I've managed to squeeze it onto the article. -- Uksignpix (talk) 08:51, 18 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
