Welcome! edit

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. The following links will help you begin editing on Wikipedia:

Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 19:19, 7 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

This is your user talk page edit

The purpose of your user talk page is for other users to leave notifications for you, and discuss your edits. It is not a workspace for a draft article; please use your user sandbox (User:Udhaya Sankar 20/sandbox) or the draft article space for these activities.

I would also advise you not to write an article about yourself, for reasons explained at Wikipedia is not about YOU and Wikipedia:Autobiography. You can write a small amount of biographical information on your userpage (User:Udhaya Sankar 20), but it must conform to Wikipedia's userpage guidelines. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 19:19, 7 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Talk pages edit

Hello Udhaya, I have reverted your addition to this talk page as this isn't the place to put articles, it's just a page where other users can come and talk to you. I am declining your request of creating this article as it is autobiographical and does not show the subject has gotten significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject.

It's best to just wait until you become important enough that someone else decides to write an article about you. But I do hope you continue contributing to this encyclopedia in other ways, there are thousands of articles here to improve.

Regards,
Þjarkur (talk) 13:10, 8 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Conflict of interest edit

  Hello, Udhaya Sankar 20. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. – Athaenara 02:15, 9 May 2019 (UTC)Reply
