AfD nomination of The word play

edit

I've nominated The word play, an article you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but in this particular case I do not feel that The word play satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion; I have explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The word play and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of The word play during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. east.718 03:31, 4 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Image:TWPChair.jpg, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Image:TWPChair.jpg is an image licensed as "for non-commercial use only" or "used with permission for use on Wikipedia only" which was either uploaded on or after 2005-05-19 or is not used in any articles (CSD I3).

If you created this media file and want to use it on Wikipedia, you may re-upload it (or amend the image description if it has not yet been deleted) and use the license {{GFDL-self}} to license it under the GFDL, or {{cc-by-sa-2.5}} to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, or use {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain.

If you did not create this media file but want to use it on Wikipedia, there are two ways to proceed. First, you may choose one of the fair use tags from this list if you believe one of those fair use rationales applies to this file. Second, you may want to contact the copyright holder and request that they make the media available under a free license.

If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. This bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate Image:TWPChair.jpg itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. If you have any questions about what to do next or why your image was nominated for speedy deletion please ask at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thanks. --Android Mouse Bot 2 03:38, 4 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Re: The Word Play

edit

Please see the guidelines for music notability; I believe The Word Play does not meet any of the criteria. Also, pages need to be verified by reliable sources, which the article currently isn't. If you improve the article to assess notability well and back it up with sources, it won't be deleted. east.718 04:19, 4 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

You should be making those arguments at the AfD nomination. By the way, the AfD notice is never to be removed. east.718 05:14, 4 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. An article you recently created, The word play, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for new articles, so it will shortly be removed (if it hasn't been already). Please use the sandbox for any tests you may want to do and please read our introduction page to learn more about contributing. Thank you. Please refrain from creating inappropriate pages such as The word play. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. A band that hasn't yet released its first album doesn't meet WP:MUSIC. Come back if and when they get some coverage from reliable independent sources. NawlinWiki 15:59, 4 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
