List of accidents and incidents involving commercial aircraft edit

You have reverted a number of edits that I made, mostly hyperlinks I added to aircraft types and involved airports. Is there a policy or guideline I should know about that makes these hyperlinks inappropriate? This account seems to be a brand new, single-purpose account for editing that page (only 8 edits total, and no home or talk page until now), yet I get the impression you know what you're doing. I want to know if there is some sort of standard governing these hyperlinks. If so, I'll follow that standard and save us both a bit of hassle. Dcs002 (talk) 03:55, 2 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

hello, nothing you did was against the policy but i was just helping keep the article clean. If you notice that throughout the years that each incident doesn't or barely has any links. TyHaliburtn (talk) 17:46, 2 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
Ok, thanks for the clarification. I've seen comments that there was too much clutter on the page. Dcs002 (talk) 05:51, 3 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

2024 in Aviation Chile accident edit

Hi, in the Wikipedia page "2024 in Aviation" I put an aviation accident that occurred in Chile on January 15, I wrote about the accident and put some sources like news articles and some YouTube videos of the accident. I wrote the information on February 20 and on February 23, and in both occasions you have reverted my text, I would like to know if there is some policy I'm violating or some reason why you have reverted my text. By the way I'm asking in a friendly manner, this is the first time I make and edit on Wikipedia, I just love aviation and want to contribute.   Hi TyHaliburtn! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of an article several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. McSly (talk) 12:08, 16 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
