Question about GOCE backlog elimination drive edit

Hi Twofingered Typist (talk · contribs)! I have a question about the January GOCE drive. On the drive page, it says "If it was tagged in November and December 2020, place *O (using plain text) after the word count." Is the "*O" for an old tagged article? In that case, I think the oldest tagged articles are from September. What am I missing? I thought you would be good to ask since you are listed as a reviewer for the drive. Thanks for your help! @TheMadDesperado: Hello: The wording is "to reduce the backlog by as many articles as possible, especially the earliest-tagged articles (those tagged in September, October, and November 2020". These are the articles you'll find on the Community Portal Page under the heading "Fix Spelling and Grammar". Those are the ones you tag with an "O".
The other group of articles are the GOCE requests which are found under "Requests" on the Guild's page. There we are focused on the backlog of requests from November and December.
Hope this clarifies things for you. Happy editing.

Thank you for your copyedit of Energy in Turkey edit

I have renominated it for "good article" and following your improvements I am confident it will get through this time. Chidgk1 (talk) 11:15, 16 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Help with copy-editing on article for FA edit

Hi. I'm currently undertaking a peer review for the video game Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered in the process of getting it to FA, and a fellow contributor recommended your work as a copy-editor in the hope that you might be able to further assist on it? If you could kindly spend some time looking over the article and give feedback on it it would be much appreciated. Wikibenboy94 (talk) 20:42, 17 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Wikibenboy94 I'm sorry I do not have the time to take this on right now. We at the GOCE are working hard to reduce the backlog of 60 requests for a copy edit. Twofingered Typist (talk) 21:19, 17 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Copy-edit request for Harry Styles discography edit

Hi Twofingered Typist, apologies for this random request. I don't know if it's appropriate to ask you personally, but this article is currently a FLC and could do with some copy-editing for prose. I have already made a request at the GOCE, but since that could take time I thought of asking you here. I'd really appreciate it if you could take it up. Thank you. --Ashleyyoursmile! 16:05, 22 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Ashleyyoursmile I've run through it for you and tweaked it a bit. It looks in great shape to me. Good luck moving forward. Twofingered Typist (talk) 17:05, 22 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
Thank you very much, Twofingered Typist. :) Ashleyyoursmile! 17:56, 22 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

2nd Div c/e edit

Thank you for the work so far on the article. I was wondering, as part of this copyedit, would you be able to take a peek at the sub articles: the three lists linked at the bottom?EnigmaMcmxc (talk) 19:33, 26 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

EnigmaMcmxc Sure, I can do that. Twofingered Typist (talk) 19:39, 26 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Ce edit

Hello. I strongly apologise to bother you. If you find some time, could you take a look at this section (5 paragraphs in total), please? Thank you. --Pinoczet (talk) 00:00, 29 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Thank you very much for your help, I greatly appreciate it. Since I am not a native English speaker, I would like to ask if it might be considered a stylistic error: "… it is possible to postulate the existence of a last universal common ancestor (LUCA), for which no specific fossil evidence exists", or is it perfectly fine? --Pinoczet (talk) 17:00, 29 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
