Template:UKairports

edit

I saw your template and I like the idea. Right now though I'm not sure if people would consider it spam or not so I asked at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Spam#Weather links. If it turns out to be OK to use I will move it to another name because it can be used in other countries. I edited the template but in the wrong browser using my sockpuppet that is basically just a watcher. Cheers. CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 12:55, 4 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Cool. Thank you. The site was actually built out of frustration getting to a consolidated picture of pilot/airport only weather. I'm working with individuals globally to compile a list of the relevant pilot radar/imagery and some are working with their local national meteorlogical agencies to standardize URLs. So, pointing to an airport ICAO code on MyMetar will end up showing all the relevant imagery and textual observations.--Tweihs 16:05, 4 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
That is an odd connection. CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 06:20, 5 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
Well I see that nobody has objected to the comment I left at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Spam#Weather links. So you might want to try adding the template, now moved to Template:Airport weather, to a few of the larger airports and see what people think.
