Music genres capitalisation edit

Hi, I hate to stop you in your tracks contributing to Wikipedia but it seems music genres are not capitalised. See Pop-rock for example. Robby.is.on (talk) 02:17, 7 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

Please refrain from changing genres, as you did to 808s & Heartbreak, without providing a source or establishing a consensus on the article's talk page first. Genre changes to suit your own point of view are considered disruptive. Further, as noted above, genres are not proper nouns and should not have every word capitalized.C.Fred (talk) 02:23, 7 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you. Robby.is.on (talk) 02:29, 7 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

Wiki editing edit

Please do a mass revert of all my edits as I have violated Wikipedia policies. Tvilaysack88 (talk) 03:07, 7 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hi, I'm glad you wrote on my Talk page. :-) I didn't mean to assume bad faith on your part. As "C.Fred" mentioned music genres, as pretty much all content on Wikipedia, have to be sourced. I will revert your unsourced changes sometime tomorrow if nobody beats me to it. That said, new contributors are always welcome here. Regards, Robby.is.on (talk) 03:15, 7 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

Revert my edits edit

Mass revert and correct all my edits please. I had only positive intentions but should've informed myself on Wikipedia policies beforehand Tvilaysack88 (talk) 03:14, 7 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

I just reverted all the genre edits you made to the Linkin Park articles. Making mass genre changes is very frowned upon on Wikipedia, especially when you remove genres that are cited in the articles, like you've done with some of them. There's other sites where you can post your personal thoughts on genres, but Wikipedia isn't one of them. Please note that making mass genres without sources or discussion can and will get you blocked from editing. Kokoro20 (talk) 04:16, 7 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

Remove me edit

If necessary, please ban or remove me from. Wikipedia. My activity has caused a lot of upset and disruption. Thank you. Tvilaysack88 (talk) 11:52, 7 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

Don't worry, you're new here. I've made a lot of mistakes here along the way while learning and I still make mistakes . :-) Robby.is.on (talk) 12:36, 7 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

Tvilaysack88, you are invited to the Teahouse! edit
