Speedy deletion of NCIS: Season 1

edit

A tag has been placed on NCIS: Season 1, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Multiple edits to NCIS episodes

edit

Hello there. I wanted to let you know that I have reverted the changes you made to the article. It's isn't a criticism, but your numerous edits didn't appear to add anything much of value to the article, so I have taken them out. I'm not sure if you just intended to make test edits, if this is the case, there is a sandbox that can be used for this. Also, there is a preview button available to use when you edit an article, which eliminates the need to make such a large volume of small edits, as you can then see your changes to the article before they go live. Best wishes. Sky83 (talk) 15:45, 21 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

NCIS episodes

edit

I suspect that you and I have had the same idea about the NCIS episode list. It's becoming big and bulky and presently there is no way to link to individual episodes. There are also a number of wikilinking errors, some of the citations aren't valid and so on. I've already corrected the entire article at User:AussieLegend/Project 01 and was planning on incorporating the fixes shortly. Like you, I'm using Template:Episode list but I notice that you've created your season 1 page at NCIS: Season 1 while the template, and convention, says the article should be at List of NCIS episodes (season 1). Perhaps you should hold off doing anything more for the time being since I'm already at the stage where I'm ready to correct everything, not just the first season. --AussieLegend (talk) 17:17, 21 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Update - I have now created all of the season articles and transcluded them into the main article. Your article has been redirected to List of NCIS episodes (season 1). --AussieLegend (talk) 03:24, 22 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of A Criminal Forever

edit

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article A Criminal Forever, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

No coverage in reliable sources to establish notability.

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. AfD nomination of In the Name of Blood, Part 1

edit

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is In the Name of Blood, Part 1. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/In the Name of Blood, Part 1. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:10, 4 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Episode that have not aired yet.

edit

Please use the sandbox to create your episodes of all CSI/NCIS episodes for next season. As you have no apparent way of citing these, you should not be posting them. Further incidents of this will be reported. Please see WP:CRYSTAL and WP:POV. 24.176.191.234 (talk) 00:32, 10 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

I've deleted these articles that refer to a future date in the past tense. If you want to create them as subpages in userspace and save them until you can provide WP:reliable sources, that would be fine. Recreating them before then could result in a block for disruptive editing.--SarekOfVulcan (talk) 01:00, 10 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from CSI: NY. When removing text, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the text has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Articles for deletion nomination of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (season 10)

edit

I have nominated CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (season 10), an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (season 10) (2nd nomination). Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.
