August 2017 edit

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for advertising or promotion. From your contributions, this seems to be your only purpose. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may request an unblock by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Nthep (talk) 14:22, 21 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

We wish to create a company brand page. Advertising is not at all our concern. Would request to kindly consider and unblock the account so that we may update the page.

Decline reason:

That's not what Wikipedia is for. MER-C 08:10, 22 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

We wish to write an informative article on the history of Turtle Limited

Decline reason:

Your username is inappropriate and you would have to explain how you'd do so while adhering to WP:COI, WP:PAID, and WP:PROMO. This unblock request does not address these concerns. Yamla (talk) 13:04, 22 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

Would request you to tell us whether a company can create its own information page on Wikipedia or not? What is the guideline for doing so? Does the company need to validate its authenticity? Can anyone create the page without the involvement of any financial transaction? What is the process for the same? Turtle Limited (talk) 05:45, 23 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

The straightforward answer to your question is no, a company cannot create its own page on wikipedia. A company cannot do anything at all here; a company cannot be an editor. Only individual persons can be editors. Your previous unblock requests use the plural, which suggests that more than one person may have access to the account; this is not allowed. A single person can edit as they wish, but you are advised not to write about your own company. Please see conflict of interest policy. --Anthony Bradbury"talk" 18:17, 23 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
