Speedy deletion of "Vettom Mani" edit

A page you created, Vettom Mani, has been tagged for deletion, as it meets one or more of the criteria for speedy deletion; specifically, it is about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how they are important or significant, and thus why they should be included in an encyclopedia. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and the guidelines for biographies in particular.

You are welcome to contribute content which complies with our content policies and any applicable inclusion guidelines. However, please do not simply re-create the page with the same content. You may also wish to read our introduction to editing and guide to writing your first article.

Thank you. – Jerryteps 06:36, 2 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Vettom Mani edit

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Vettom Mani, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Notability, possible self promotion

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.   The recent edit you made to St. George's Church, Puthuppally constitutes vandalism, and has been reverted. Please do not continue to remove content from articles without explanation. Thank you. Kingpin13 (talk) 08:43, 17 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

I think you should keep the St. George page, as that's what the church was reconsecrated as centuries ago and how the website that you linked to displays its name. I think the Puthuppally page should either be removed or expanded to a page on that area around the church. Banaticus (talk) 09:09, 17 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Unreferenced BLPs edit

Hello Ttjohn! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 940 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag.
