Thank you for uploading File:Adele - Turning Tables.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can verify that it has an acceptable license status and a verifiable source. Please add this information by editing the image description page. You may refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Stefan2 (talk) 21:40, 25 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed your recent edit to Here's to Never Growing Up does not have an edit summary. Please provide one before saving your changes to an article, as the summaries are quite helpful to people browsing an article's history. Thanks! You REALLY need to start using the edit summary, especially when removing large amounts of text, like you did here—a totally valid edit, but without an edit summary explaining what you were removing, it looks like you could be removing just about anything. Please do this, it helps everyone. Thanks. – Kerαunoςcopiagalaxies 22:47, 8 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

EVIDENCE THAT SKYFALL REMIX CD IS NOT REAL

edit

Sorry to make such a big deal out of this, but I'm a huge Adele fan and I know for a fact that this is completely false. Thank you! ---Tsu'tey♫ (talk)

1. I've removed your image because you have put the email and telephone number of an individual on the page without their consent. It's really not good practice to do this (just imagine how you would feel if someone posted your contact details without your permission. I strongly advise you to either have the image removed, or upload a copy which does not show the personal details.

2. This is WP:OR. It does not matter if you contacted the company or not, this cannot be used as a source to back up the inclusion or removal of information: I could knock up an image that says exactly the reverse in a couple of minutes, which is exactly why this sort of approach really isn't acceptable.

3. If it is that important to you not to have the information in the find a reliable source which states the information and use that instead. You should note that the source used currently says the opposite to your claim, so please ensure that the source you use is a good one, and does not fall foul of WP:OR again.

4. In future, as per WP:BRD, if your Bold edit is Reverted, please Discuss, rather than go straight to edit war. - SchroCat (talk) 17:18, 18 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Adele

edit

I reverted your updated image as it looks like it'll probably be deleted eventually, but I agree we need an up to date picture of her. Have you considered requesting one from her record company or agent that we could use? I know people have done this for other singer articles, though I'm not sure how it works. Paul MacDermott (talk) 15:25, 10 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

Well, the template attached to File:Adele 2012 Grammys.jpg appears to be requesting information on who is the copyright holder. I see you've provided a link as requested, so hopefully someone will confirm whether or not we can use it. I suspect the copyright is owned by the press agency that took the picture. Also, I just checked out your Adele wiki. You must have permission of the original copyright holders to use the images on there. I guess you'd have to ask again for permission to transfer some here. Is that possible? If you want to restore it to the article then by all means go ahead. I agree with you that it's a better image than the 2009 picture, but having watched the article for several months I'm aware of various attempts by different people to upload images of her Grammys appearance, and they never seem to last very long. My record company suggestion was only an idea, but if they're not very responsive then obviously that's an avenue that's not open to us. Then again, as you mention, she hasn't done anything for a while, so perhaps they'll put out some promo stuff when she releases another album. Paul MacDermott (talk) 16:14, 10 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Adele 2012 Grammys.jpg

edit

A tag has been placed on File:Adele 2012 Grammys.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an image licensed as "for non-commercial use only," "non-derivative use" or "used with permission," it has not been shown to comply with the limited standards for the use of non-free content. [1], and it was either uploaded on or after 2005-05-19, or is not used in any articles. If you agree with the deletion, there is no need to do anything. If, however, you believe that this image may be retained on Wikipedia under one of the permitted conditions then:

  • state clearly the source of the image. If it has been copied from elsewhere on the web you should provide links to: the image itself, the page which uses it and the page which contains the license conditions.
  • add the relevant copyright tag.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. —JennKR | 14:56, 28 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Adele 2012 Grammys.jpg

edit

Thank you for uploading File:Adele 2012 Grammys.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. —JennKR | 15:02, 28 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

Your draft article, Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Here's to Never Growing Up

edit

Hello Tsu'tey te Rongloa Ateyitan. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Here's to Never Growing Up".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Here's to Never Growing Up}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. —Anne Delong (talk) 22:47, 8 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Adele again

edit

Hi, I reverted your edit because, although it is her official twitter account, it's a primary source, and those should be avoided. Also, the rather cryptic message doesn't actually report the album's release. Preferably we need the information to be reported by a third party source, such as a newspaper. As the media seems to like to comment on everything she does then I'm sure it won't be long before this is picked up. This is Paul (talk) 23:47, 4 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

No worries, but to be honest you probably have a good point actually. We'd certainly use her autobiography if she wrote it, so this probably amounts to a similar thing. Perhaps this is something to raise with those who put these rules together. This is Paul (talk) 12:07, 5 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Today Was a Fairytale (Single Artwork).jpg

edit

A tag has been placed on File:Today Was a Fairytale (Single Artwork).jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.
