Nice set of recs, that I mostly agree with. Although I wish I had brought together an explicit list of not-shooting-from-the-hip examples in my userspace somewhere before the election of counterexamples (since those naturally are less high profile than instances where people view my actions as shooting from the hip,) it's certainly a perception many have. Please don't worry at all about opposing me - I'm not terribly personally invested in the election (although I think I'd serve as a much more reasonable arb than many of our recent arbs have,) but rather, am invested in making sure we have a new tranche of arbs that doesn't look like some of our recent ones.
