December 2020 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "TruthfulEditors", may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because it suggests this is a group or shared account. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username by completing the form at Special:GlobalRenameRequest, or you may simply create a new account for editing. Thank you. 331dot (talk) 20:23, 17 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hi there, it's not actually a group or shared account, but I do have --- and as such thought it was a fitting username. If the username still doesn't comply with the username policy please let me know, thanks. TruthfulEditors (talk) 20:31, 17 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
I'm not certain it is wise to post such information in this public forum; however, since it is not a group account there is no issue. I will point out that it might save you some grief from future confusion like mine from other editors if you changed your name to something more individualistic, but I see no need to force you to. Best wishes 331dot (talk) 20:39, 17 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for the information, I might decide to change it in that case because I didn't think that far into the name honestly when I picked it or what might arise. Thanks for letting me know how this works. UPDATE: Just edited out the information in this thread and requested a username change since I think that's for the best. Your thread has been archived edit

Hi TruthSeekerSeven! The thread you created at the Wikipedia:Teahouse, How to add a specific character from a page to a category, without listing the page name itself, has been archived because there was no discussion for a few days (usually at least two days, and sometimes four or more). You can still find the archived discussion here. If you have any additional questions that weren't answered then, please feel free to create a new thread.

The archival was done by Lowercase sigmabot III, and this notification was delivered by Muninnbot, both automated accounts. You can opt out of future notifications by placing {{bots|deny=Muninnbot}} here on your user talk page. Muninnbot (talk) 19:03, 20 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Redirects edit

Hi TruthSeekerSeven, I saw you created the redirects. I want to point out that we normally don't put content categories on redirects. Please read WP:Categorizing redirects. You may wish to remove them. Best wishes! Waggie (talk) 00:04, 21 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hello, thank you for the information! I'm not exactly what you mean, I read through the article you linked as well. If you're able to clarify I'd really appreciate it. Just fyi, I placed the redirects for the characters into the categories, because the characters don't have their own pages and I've seen others sorted this way as well. Thank you!
