NEVER nominate an article for deletion and then delete a large chunk of it's content!

edit

Irrespective with any problems with the Rupert Clague article is it absolutely unacceptable for you to nominate it for deletion and then remove the majority of the article in order to make it look like there is less being proposed for deletion than there really is. This is has the appearance of deception, bad faith and an attempt to game the system. If you really believe that the article should be deleted then you can start an AfD, setting out your reasoning without attempting to falsify its contents going into the process. I don't know if you are the same person as 79.78.94.116 who was gutting articles and proposing deletion last year (see their contributions) but this sort of behaviour is never acceptable. This has the appearance of a personal grudge. It has to stop now. DanielRigal (talk) 22:15, 31 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Yes, I just reverted another attempt of this user doing this. I may take it to the Administrator's Noticeboard if this continues. JML1148 (talk) 09:58, 1 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
The majority of the article was not removed -- the links which do not qualify for Wikipedia were removed as was noted in the edit. Are you incapable of reading the edit notes or are you personally linked to the source? Trumplives46 (talk) 14:21, 1 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm JML1148. I noticed that you recently removed content from Rupert Clague without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Hi, I removed content that:
- did not have citation
- had incorrect citation
- had citations that do not qualify for wikipedia.
Please check, and apologies for being unclear Trumplives46 (talk) 14:22, 1 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
