Radish

edit

Note that I have reverted your removal of information from the radish page. The lead is meant to capture the contents of the body, and that statement is indeed justified by a citation in the body text (here). Note that I'm reverting on the basis of the statement being unsourced, if you have a different reason, please feel free to let me know and we can discuss. There's a reply for you on Talk:Radish. WLU (talk) 22:49, 2 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Alex Avery (researcher)

edit

Would you care weigh-in at the above article? An anonymous editor is making what I feel are unjustified changes (e.g. [1][2]) but so far no one besides me has stepped in to revert him. As someone who's recently edited to page, it would be great if you could step in. You might want to also keep an eye on Dennis Avery, too. Yilloslime (t) 00:12, 29 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

moving a page

edit

{{helpme}} i want to move the page organic farming to organic agriculture because that is the more common term, organic agriculture already redirects to organic farming. how do i do it, i can't just move the page, i first have to delete the redirekt in place? thanks

You could try starting a discussion on the article's talk page, as there would appear to be consensus to have the article named as it is. If you can present valid arguments to move the article, it will be moved accordingly. --Closedmouth (talk) 05:26, 20 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
Hmm, in that case, you might want to list it at WP:RM. It's pretty simple, just follow the instructions given. --Closedmouth (talk) 05:58, 20 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
