Some Manual of Style considerations (and other guidelines) edit

Hi Trnkumarchawla. I noticed you are making edits to YMCA University of Science and Technology and I thought I'll give you some tips, so your edits conform more with the Manual of Style. First, I noticed you are using bold letters. Per MOS:BOLD very few things should be bolded, mostly just the name in the lead and former names. I noticed you are also linking the title of the article, or articles that redirect to it, which you should not do per WP:LINK. Regarding the material you added to the lead (the first section of the article), the purpose of the lead is to define the subject and summarize the article. It should not include other material. I moved the material where it belongs. But most important, your additions lacked reliable sources for verification. We can't have sentences like "a marvel of technology" without some reliable source saying so. Sentences like "it has state of art machines" and "in it’s glorious history" are also boosterism and promotional, and do not belong in Wikipedia. Another thing to consider is the guideline for university articles. Specifically, we don't list the programs. I hope this helps you improve the article, while staying within guidelines. Best regards and happy editing. --Muhandes (talk) 14:22, 14 March 2012 (UTC)Reply
