Tristan Sterk moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Tristan Sterk, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. If you are the same Tristan Sterk in article then there is a conflict of interest. Please read Wikipedia:Autobiography. Regards. Hughesdarren (talk) 23:32, 18 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Tristan Sterk

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:Tristan Sterk, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.   Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions; however, it appears you may have written a Wikipedia article, or a draft for a Wikipedia article, about yourself. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – please see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to or change an existing article about yourself, you are welcome to propose the changes by visiting the article's talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was the page I created deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss this with the deleting administrator. Thank you. You have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 week for abusing multiple accounts. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Star Mississippi 01:46, 28 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
You were warned against creating an autobiography. Creating a second account, which has been blocked indefinitely per Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Tristan Sterk, is not the solution to that. This account has been blocked for one week, any further attempts to evade detection while continuing to promote yourself will result in a more harsh block. Please listen to the feedback you were given and allow someone independent to write about your work. Star Mississippi 01:48, 28 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

Your submission at Articles for creation: Tristan Sterk (September 27)

Your recent article submission has been rejected. If you have further questions, you can ask at the Articles for creation help desk or use Wikipedia's real-time chat help. The reason left by Star Mississippi was: This topic is not sufficiently notable for inclusion in Wikipedia. The comment the reviewer left was: Repeatedly resubmitted without addressing the issues raised by multiple reviewers. An independent editor is welcome to revisit this in the future.

Dear Star Mississippi,
I'm writing to ask for genuine help because I am new to Wikipedia editing and would appreciate your guidance. I genuinely understand and appreciate your advice.
For example: Could you please provide some clear assistance and clarification about your recent rejection? Have I missed a comment made by a previous editor or reviewer?
A brief list of edits generated from comments provided by reviewers that I believe have been addressed:
1. The use of bold characters
(The bold characters were removed)
2. The use of neutral langauge
(After reviewing the wikipedia language guidelines and having a third party review my edits understood the previous comments and have corrected the language in the best spirit of the wikipedia language guidelines.)
3. Incomplete references
(After reading the citation and reference guidelines I believe all references now follow the recommended best practices)
4. References from independent third party sources
(The references all originate from 3rd parties and recognized sources (for example media organizations and publications such as the Economist, Wired, or CNN or published materials by recognized architectural presses)
Star Mississippi, I hope you read this note understanding that it is written in good faith and with the intent of seeking your honest assistance. The submitted edits have addressed the previous reviewer's comments. I understand that the references provided are older; for example, many of the articles cited originate in the 2006 - 2013 period; however, they are still valid references from third parties that often garner significant press (and did at the time).
Sincerely
Tristan Sterk. Tristan Sterk (talk) 02:58, 27 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
Apologies for the delay, I was offline. This article still exists to promote yourself, which is not allowed, but the broader issue is it does not make clear why you are notable as is needed here. If that changes, someone else will write about you and your work. Please note, this is not a reason to solicit someone to do so on your behalf. Let me know if you need more information Star Mississippi 13:40, 1 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
Star Mississippi,
Thank you for writing. I have some questions, but I will reply with them after taking some time to consider your comments more thoroughly. I appreciate your opinion, your contributions to Wikipedia, and your time. Sincerely, Tristan. Tristan Sterk (talk) 15:47, 1 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
Great. If I don't answer quickly, feel free to ping the folks at the Teahouse who are also available. Have a good evening. Star Mississippi 00:47, 2 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
