Fairusebot.

edit

The reason that the ImageBot commented out the image of the Triskelion image is that the explanation at the image didn't follow all of the rules. Specifically see entry 10c in http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:NFCC (You have to have a separate entry on the image page for each of the pages that you are using it on). The Bot will continue to do it automatically until the image is fixed.Naraht (talk) 20:31, 15 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

I'm sorry you feel that way. As you will see from my edits i work on my fraternity's pages honestly and with an open mind. I was one of the original editors on the triskelion page and have done quite a bit of editing. I would like to take a moment to point out that no page on Wikipedia belongs to an editor and thus edits should not be taken so personally. I am sorry that you feel I may have been over zealous in my attempts to pare down the page and as I said I was venting on the talk page perhaps the venting was in poor taste. But I have worked consistently to bring the Triskelion page into line with the tone and style of all other Greek life pages. For one while you have sources many of them are not verifiable or do not meet the guidelines to be sources. Your alumni list is long horrible looking with its red linked members and full of people whose notability is very questionable. My edits were not meant to be a final version of the page but simply to give editors a none POV and consistent style to work from and build off of. The old page simply did not follow Wikipedia guidelines. Wikipedia has the guidelines to meet it mission, which is to be an encyclopedia and the constant aggrandizing of your page does not meet that standard. Feel free to make your edits, or to look at my Sigep page and change anything you think may need to be changed. I think its a flawed page also. Perhaps your suggestions and edits would be helpful. But do not accuse me of bias nor tell me to mind my own business or stay on my own page. That is not the spirit of Wikipedia and not the spirit of me. The fact that you attack me and tell me to leave indicates to me that you may not be looking at your own edits with a fair eye towards point of view or non bias. So yes i will continue to monitor the Triskelion page and i will continue to make edits as i see they are needed. I will be glad to listen to your or anyone else's input. Wikipedia is cooperative and i follow that to the letter. So make your edits and make your suggestions and together we can make your fraternity's page the envy of Greek life. Or not. your choice.Trey (talk) 21:04, 13 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Action from Mla.: About TGF infos which have been deleted? Lets try to acknowledge those editors for their summary scripts and sharing a simplified informations. We hope then, their objective is for easy reading, avoiding redundancies ("paulit-ulit" in Filipino word or "repeating" in English word). Researchers' can link to the official Triskelions' Grand Fraternity websites if they're interested to learn more details. In other way, they can place their suggestive infos on "discussion page" first while reverting words in article page. In fact, TGF infos are expanded on educational orientation program for the "neos" plus re-orientation membership program for all "refreshers".

Tarantula, thank you for securing the TGF article snd i suggest to get their reasoning first.. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.8.252.94 (talk) 12:24, 14 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Proposed deletion of File:TOL-Logo.jpg

edit

The file File:TOL-Logo.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

unused, low-res, no obvious use

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:00, 23 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
