WikiProject Women in Green is holding a month-long Good Article Editathon event in July 2022!
Running from July 1 to 31, 2022, WikiProject Women in Green (WiG) is hosting a Good Article (GA) editathon event focused on the topic of women and the environment. Participants are invited to work on nominating and/or reviewing GA submissions related to women and women's works during the event period (with an emphasis on environmental links and topics). GA resources and one-on-one support will be provided by experienced GA editors, and participants will have the opportunity to receive a special WiG barnstar for their efforts.

Can you help identify some Chaos models?
I think I asked for your help like this once before and it worked out reasonably well. I've found a Creative Commons Attribution licensed video for Chaos, a UK fashion accessory brand, uploaded by the director. https://vimeo.com/190230445 It has many, many amazing images of models that we have articles for, including many that do not have images. The video page claims it should have Jasmine Sanders, Julia Banas, Molly Bair, Vittoria Ceretti, Yasmin Wijnaldum, Barbara Palvin, Karlie Kloss, Lexi Boling, Taylor Hill, Anna Ewers, Vanessa Moody, Stella Maxwell, "Aiden" (Models.com says Aiden Curtiss)?, Binx Walton, Selena Forrest, Edie Campbell, Dilone, Mica Arganaraz and Romee Strijd. I did my best to identify those I could, but some was not sure, and about a third had no idea. This Times article helped a bit, https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/chaos-theory-superstylist-charlotte-stockdale-rrqr2kzwz but I am not a subscriber so could only see the first paragraph. Can you help tell who is who?

I was surprised about Walton/Curtiss and was going to argue, but can see it now; our article Binx Walton only has her picture with the tight-to-the-head hair, while Aiden Curtiss has her with more volume, but I looked around a bit, such as https://www.zimbio.com/photos/Binx+Walton/scqiCYUx7NP/ and https://www.nextmanagement.com/london/profile/aiden-curtiss and you are right; the hair changes, but the eyes are distinctive. Anna Ewers image
Er ... um. A related but less pleasant issue, I'm afraid. Looking at the Anna Ewers article it has File:Anna Ewers for Vogue France.jpg, which I believe you uploaded. It's from Flickr, an account called Tradlands. https://www.flickr.com/photos/tradlands/23772871488 Tradlands seems to be a San Francisco clothing store, but not Vogue France. The Flickr image is rather low resolution. The Tradlands Flickr account seems to have no problems posting https://www.flickr.com/photos/tradlands/30255073436/ and marking it Creative Commons Attribution, though they say it is from LIFE magazine 1954, and since the Tradlands About page says "Coming Spring 2013" I doubt they commissioned the LIFE magazine image in 1954. Then there's this Grace Kelly image https://www.flickr.com/photos/tradlands/26939544684/ which lacks provenance, but is also marked CC-BY, and unless our Grace Kelly biography is way off, also predates 2013 by quite a bit. In short, I suspect that just like those two images, they may not own the rights to the Vogue France image, and am highly tempted to nominate it for deletion on that basis, and replace it with the above Anna Ewers image, which is arguably not quite as good, but isn't terrible, and at least comes from the shoot director, who at least has a reasonable claim to the copyright.
But I could be missing something! Is Tradlands somehow related to Vogue France, so have the rights to release the image? Is it, for example, from a Tradlands commissioned Vogue shoot, or a Tradlands advertisement in Vogue, or was Tradlands founded by a Vogue photographer or ... ? --GRuban (talk) 15:34, 12 August 2022 (UTC)
- Upon research, it appears this photo came from a 2013 editorial called "Hamptons" in Vogue France's version of Teen Vogue. The jacket is by Carolina Herrera. I hadn't noticed the Tradlands people, I only noticed the CC rights being usable but yeah it's probably just a copyright violation. I went ahead and nominated it for deletion. Your revert
Hello Trillfendi,
I saw you basically reverted my edit on Demy de Vries. As you can see here, prefixes are not used to index Dutch names. (the fact that the example in the sub-section also uses the name de Vries is no more than an amusing coïncidence.) WP follows this convention/rule, as you can see in this category, where beside your revert there are no other Dutch people indexed by de, or the more common van. While you can see a lot of van's sprinkled throughout the cat. Johannes de Decker is indexed under Decker or else he would be above Demy de Vries. Could you be so kind and reverse your revert?
