Merging articles

edit

When you merge one article into another, as you did with Mario Kart: Double Dash!! Bonus Disc recently, you shouldn't blank the page of the merged article, it will look like vandalism and be reverted (as was the case with this particular article). Instead, the article should be changed to a redirect (which I just did, so you can check it out for an example). Also, it's good form to check for any double redirects caused by this and fix them as well. While I'm here, I've been noticing you making a lot of grammar and spelling corrections in our CVG articles and have meant to say thanks, so thank you and keep up the good work! When you make a user page, consider adding this userbox if you would like to join the CVG WikiProject. --Pagrashtak 01:04, 29 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

ESRB image text

edit

I've noticed you removing some text from ESRB images, such as changing [[Image:ESRB_E.png|12px|E]] to [[Image:ESRB_E.png|12px]]. It's better to leave that extra E, as it will help users whose computers cannot display the image and adds hover text. Thanks. --Pagrashtak 01:41, 13 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

On an unrelated note, the info you have up there about yourself and articles is normally displayed on your user page and not the talk page, if you care to move it. --Pagrashtak 05:08, 16 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

US flag image

edit

Just a heads up since you add flags to infoboxes — it looks like you should be using Image:Flag of the United States.svg instead of Image:Us flag large.png. The latter has been marked as redundant and is getting switched over in a lot of CVG articles. --Pagrashtak 04:44, 19 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Speccy

edit

The article Speccy has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable software.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
