Math formatting

Please see MOS:MATH, and especially the subsection MOS:FORMULA, for guidance about formatting mathematics on Wikipedia. "Anywhere": most mathematicians write in LaTex or in other math languages that use a single math formatting (in italics by the way), and not a variety of (excuse me, but) irrelevant options such that ' ' ' ' or \<math> or {{ math etc.

LaTeX does not place symbols (like parentheses and equal signs) or digits in italics; no one ever anywhere has done so as a standard practice. Your edit here does so repeatedly. Has you ever read a mathematical paper? Have you ever written in LaTeX? Do you know what italics does mean?

I'm currently writing in LaTex (right now), with the maths in italics... as in most (all?) the mathematical documents of my academic formation and in most "modern" maths papers...

Apparently I have made a mistake in believing that you were a competent person here in good faith. I will not make that mistake in the future. Meanwhile, I suggest you use your great depth of LaTeX knowledge to reflect on whether \textit{(} (a parenthesis in italics) looks the same as $($ (a parenthesis in math mode).
