Gui4Cli programming language edit

--Dckelly (talk) 10:48, 15 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

I have no idea if this is the correct place to ask...

I added a programming language named Gui4Cli to the list of programming languages and you "reverted" the changes, but I can't find the reason anywhere.

Can you please advise? This is a computer language (not a markup language), it's been around for ages (since the Amiga), it works on Windows and it is still used by several people. I have recently added Unicode support, etc.

I don't know if this will reach you and don't know where to check if it did. My email is gui4cli@gmail.com - I would be very grateful if you could send me a link there, or contact me.

Thanks!

Hi Dckelly. I reverted your addition, not because I don't think Gui4Cli belongs in a list of programming languages (I have no opinion on that matter, to be honest), but because of the external link. Typically, external links shouldn't be used in the body section of an article, see WP:EL. I should have included this comment to my edit, sorry for that.
