Hi I'm Tony McColley Student Representative on the National Council of the College of Paramedics. We have made a major update to the CoP wiki page today and would be grateful for considered feedback!

College of paramedics edit

Hi Tony,

Thanks very much for your contribution today to the CoP article. I've done some tidying up to bring it in to the style required at Wikipedia, and that has meant getting rid of a couple of small bits, like the member benefits, as that is really just advertising.

There are a couple of things you might be able to help with which would really improve the article as far as wikipedia goes. The first is making sure that everything is in a neutral tone of voice - no promotion or saying that something is good - we only report facts (you can look at WP:NPOV for more info)

The second is that this article really needs more references or citations. It is a central plank of wikipedia that everything we put on has to be verifiable and attributable to a reputable third party source, ideally one not directly connected to the subject. One of the hardest parts of that is that we are not interested in what is true, but what we can prove to be true (more info on this at WP:V and WP:CITE). There are loads of facts in this article which need citing - such as all the bodies that you have listed the CoP as being representatives on. Ideally, this should be articles in the press, trade journals, or on the sites of the other party, rather than an article on the CoP page. Ideally every paragraph should have at least one citation. If you can help find these, I am happy to help you put them in the article.

As regards the logo, the rules are quite clear and we MUST use the lowest resolution logo that accurately represents the actual logo, to prevent copyright infringement. The only exception is if the college sends and official WP:OTRS notification to Wikimedia that they release the logo in to the public domain, but this wouldn't be desirable as then anyone could legally use it for any purpose.

Hope that all makes sense, any questions, please give me a shout.
